| Community Tasting Notes (average 88.6 pts. and median of 90 pts. in 9 notes) - hiding notes with no text | | Tasted by Bellissimo on 11/24/2017: NV from what I recall was a combination of Syrah and Pinot from different vintages though the cork said 2010. Pretty light and feminine tended to favor more of the Pinot side of things. Raspberry, blueberry, slight earthy undertone. Lovely acids, smooth tannins with great mouthfeel. Pretty wine. (723 views) | | Tasted by MWes on 2/11/2017 & rated 89 points: Tight and a bit clunky at first. Got better with time. I would decant if drinking now. Tasted primarily like Pinot. (914 views) | | Tasted by cindinic on 11/30/2014 & rated 75 points: Too much Cali-style pinot. Best one was resonance, but would need aging. Didn't like any of their whites (1569 views) | | Tasted by wineismylife on 9/1/2013 & rated 88 points: WIML88
Tasted non blind at a wine dinner.
Garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of dust, berries, raspberries and cherries. Flavors of berries, cherries and raspberries. Medium to tart acidity, medium tannin, medium to full bodied. Drink now. (2132 views) | | Tasted by VinoLuvers on 1/26/2013 & rated 95 points: Look: Bright plum/burgundy. Nose: Heavy crushed raspberry with subtle but distinct tones of fatty meat mixed with a bit of straw. Distinct floral notes. Taste: Well balanced, acidity and tannic structure, bright blackberry, finished with white pepper. Fills mouth with flavor - long finish. (1889 views) |
| Big Table Farm Producer websiteRed Blend.USAAmerican wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.Oregon Oregon Wine, Oregon Wineries (Oregon Wine Board)Oregon* |
