Tasted by Gruffalius on 5/1/2015 & rated 90 points: Very nice wine. Smooth with a little spice. (1932 views)
Tasted by sp4388 on 7/28/2014 & rated 91 points: dark fruit, violets, spice, on nose. Clearly a big wine and high in alcohol but well balanced. Tastes like the color purple, with some bloody beef and a long, slightly bitter dark chocolate finish. Great stuff for $25. (2052 views)
Tasted by Martnmac on 1/9/2014 & rated 91 points: Shut the front door! Serious. For 25 bucks this kick ass. Triple yum! Big bold inky chocolately finish fantastic. Buy a case now!!! Love it (2373 views)
Tasted by ledocq on 1/1/2014 & rated 91 points: The somm at The Little Owl in the West Village recommended this -- no formal notes, but really terrific. (2656 views)
Tasted by TheDarkPrince on 11/15/2013 & rated 92 points: This wine looked like black ink when I poured it. I swirled the wine and it coated the glass!

The aromatics are exotic; loads of white pepper, crushed cherries and blueberries. On the palette, the wine has a superb structure. Well textured, but subtle at the same time. Super long finish. The tannins suggest that this was opened prematurely. The wine reminds me of a fine Rhone Ranger. This is an excellent specimen. Not too expensive, and pleasantly restrained, relative to the typical Aussie shiraz.

Definitely one for the cellar. The average Cellartracker score understates the quality of this wine.

Tasted by whits on 8/7/2013 & rated 88 points: dark and heavy looking, cherry pie and flowers on the nose, big, huge wine, rich, hot, plums, berries, mint and spice on the palate, there is a spine of acid, complex, with big fruit, obviously hot, in-your-face, you-can't-handle-me kind of wine, great with a cheeseburger (1141 views)
Tasted by Hamilton1 on 3/22/2013 & rated 91 points: A rich wine, with typical petite sirah fruit. The only downside in my book was the heat, seemed quite high. (1332 views)
