(314 views)
Tasted by wineshlub on 10/18/2020 & rated 91 points: Popped and poured. Lanolin aroma. Rich flavors of lanolin, stone fruit, a bit of honey. Apricot pit in the finish. Straight up chenin flavor profile with some complexity, firm backbone, slightly heavy mouthfeel, dry with just a hint of sweetness. Fully mature, with no hint of decline. (531 views)
Tasted by SimonG on 6/8/2019 & rated 90 points: R/Y/I/C (Home): Mid to full straw. Quite a minerally nose with a sense of richness. A fraction off-dry, really quite ripe and rounded. Less complex or mineral than the Bournais, but very decent. Drinking well but no hurry. ***1/2 (811 views)
Tasted by kosmik on 5/12/2018 & rated 93 points: Grand!

Tasted by r.o.man on 10/3/2015 & rated 92 points: The aroma-profile of this wine develops like a wave - restraint nose, honey scented with gentle scent of various citruses with peels, warm and calm. The first impression on the palate is sleek body, very polished and soft. The flavours come afterwards - broad, rich, sappy, very fresh, clean, in great balance, culminating in sweet and long dry finish. Great wine! (2049 views)
Tasted by schwank on 6/12/2015: For Drink Chenin Day 2015. Very nice, still somewhat youthful but also gaining a bit of complexity. Wish I had more. (1939 views)
Tasted by HStaal on 10/23/2014 & rated 88 points: Dinner with former WSET 3 fellow students (Outlaw's at The Captital): Notes from memory made on the train on the way home.
Appearance: Clear; Medium Gold
Nose: Clean; Developing ; Medium intensity of pear, peach, apricot – some dried fruit; other aromas I couldn’t pinpoint.
Palate: Off-Dry; Medium(+) Acidity; Medium Level of alcohol (13.0%); Medium(+) Body; Medium(+) intensity of pear, peach, apricot – some dried fruit; other flavours I couldn’t pinpoint ; Medium(+) Finish.
Overall: Good balance, quite fresh acidity but not in a detrimental way, quite intense, good length and quite some complexity between primary stone fruits, some tertiary dried fruits and other flavours/aromas I couldn’t identify (bio-dynamic ??)
Conclusion: Good; Can Drink Now but has Potential for Ageing; High-Priced (€ 14.40) (2444 views)
Tasted by Strikermax on 8/8/2014 & rated 92 points: Helder strogeel.
(2515 views)
Tasted by drwine2001 on 10/23/2012: Visits to Touraine Producers-Baudry, Huet, Foreau...; 10/22/2012-10/24/2012 (Vicinity of Tours, France): Sec. Like the Bournais, light weight and earthy, but more pear fruit here. Better balance than that wine. Also elegant in style. (3161 views)
(2265 views)
 Tasted by kosmik on 5/14/2011 & rated 90 points: 13% d'alcool, 100% Chenin blanc

Tasted by SimonG on 5/10/2010: Chidaine (La Cave Insolite, Montlouis): More open and fruity on the nose and more rounded on the palate. Good plus. ***1/2 (2294 views)
