Tasted by meistereder on 5/19/2013 & rated 87 points: A lot of earth. On its own, not the most palatable drinking wine. With epoisse, it accents and brings it out so well. (2075 views)
(2125 views)
Tasted by Jason Millar on 11/20/2012 & rated 88 points: An archetypal example of a wine that is extremely difficult to score, this was not complex, nor was it enigmatic, and it certainly wasn't brooding - it was just as fresh and vibrant and full of energy as the coming of spring. Delicious and life-affirming as only gamay can be. Real wine! Who wouldn't want to drink this? (2876 views)
(2370 views)
Tasted by tenor12bucks on 7/11/2012 & rated 90 points: Light purple. Subtle, attractive nose of strawberries, plums and candy sugar. Big, bright red fruit on the front palate, with evolving green apple, cranberry, and candy apple flavors over the very long finish. Very nice. (2673 views)
Tasted by drwine2001 on 1/11/2012: Good depth of color. Cherry, earth and even a little graphite on the nose. Bright, tart Gamay fruit with some citrus as well. Dry impression with cranberry acidity. At first, a nice extra layer, then thinned out. Pretty good Loire Gamay that could be mistaken for a Beaujolais. (1426 views)
Tasted by Blanchette on 1/7/2012 & rated 86 points: Vin à la robe rouge violacé plutôt intense.
(1483 views)
Tasted by dzitt on 10/15/2011 & rated 89 points: Fruit pur et légèrement épicé. Excellent pour le prix... (1499 views)
Tasted by dzitt on 9/10/2011 & rated 88 points: Robe rubis clair au contour rose.
87 pts (1444 views)
Tasted by pdev on 7/20/2011 & rated 86 points: Dark candied berry nose, pez, seems to be some carbonic maceration influence. Palate is more restrained than nose would indicate. Dry, dusty finish. Acidity is in check. Pleasant wine, but not really digging the nose. (1378 views)
