Tasted by awilliamson4 on 4/26/2021 & rated 94 points: loved this (802 views)
Tasted by rocknroller on 8/2/2018 & rated 90 points: SpRhones at Borough (Borough, Mpls, MN): Medium gold color. Drank a glass over 30 minutes. This didn't have the same impact as the last time we had it. This bottle seemed a bit more advanced, and I didn't really feel the love I did previously. I would lay this off to bottle variation at this point. Slightly sour apple, oxidative - and not so much in a positive way this time, tart, lychee, passion fruit with a mineral background, nature-like dry finish. 89-90pts. (2319 views)
Tasted by christyler on 5/5/2018 & rated 91 points: This is in a nice place, if you like mature champagne. I'm not sure there's upside to holding on to this, but right now it's in the zone. (2041 views)
Tasted by rocknroller on 4/25/2018 & rated 93 points: Some Excellent Mixed Whites at Martina (Martina, Mpls): Deep golden color. Drank 1 glass over an hour. This was really nice, both on the nose and palate - rich and full bodied with a great texture, lemon, lemon oil, an oxidative quality that significantly enhanced the complexity, powdered lime, and passion fruit witha tangy core of acidity. This is wonderfully mature and complex. (2520 views)
Tasted by Nojomoschwa on 9/7/2017 & rated 92 points: A beautiful Blanc des Blancs for the price ($59) showing its maturity but also bags of freshness. Drinking really nicely now, but should hold well for another 5(+?) years. Clouet makes great-value Champagne, and here's the proof. (2635 views)
Tasted by AV2012 on 6/16/2017 & rated 91 points: From magnum. Nose of warm milk caramel. There's pickle, generous and soft buttery palate. Rich and giving, although it seemed that the acidity is rather high. I believe this is a short-medium term drinker. (2161 views)
Tasted by thewiz on 1/5/2017 & rated 88 points: (Disgorged in September 2016) Yellow colour with a stream of fine bubbles that lead to a maturing nose showing butter, cream and oak. Palate is smooth with a creamy texture and exotic fruit and a long fresh, but oxidative red apples and lime fruity finish. This was showing a bit too much warmth and smoothness on the palate, and feels a bit disjointed with all the vanillin. Best 2017-2022. (1684 views)
Tasted by Blauweiss on 12/7/2016 & rated 92 points: Munskänkarna Göteborg Champagne-class, session 9, flight 2.

Lovely, fresh champagne, at a perfect stage right now, but will last a decade.
Nose full of ripe apples, some tropical fruits, ripe red berries. Taste is medium+ bodied, with great precision, refreshing acidity and a nice backbone that stands up to pretty much any food. Good stuff! (1485 views)

France - When it comes to wine, France stands alone. No other country can beat it in terms of consistent quality and diversity. And while many of its Region, Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne most obviously, produce wine as rare, as sought-after and nearly as expensive as gold, there are just as many obscurities and values to be had from little known appellations throughout the country. To learn everything there is to know about French wine would take a lifetime. To understand and appreciate French wine, one only has to begin tasting them. Sub-Region:

Champagne - The French region of Champagne (including the cities of Rheims, Épernay, and Aÿ) was the first region in the world to make sparkling wine in any quantity. Today, the name of the region is synonymous with the finest of all sparkling wines, and wine-making traditions of Champagne have become role models for sparkling wine producers, worldwide. Surprisingly, the region of Champagne is now responsible for only one bottle in 12 of all sparkling wine produced. Styles of champagne range in sweetness ranging from an extra brut or brut 0, to the basic brut to demi sec to doux; some houses produce single vintage champagnes and others produce non-vintage (or incorporate wines/grapes of multiple vintages), often to preserve a specific taste; combinations of grape varietals; and colors, including a rosé. There are several sub-appellations, including the Valley of the Marnes river running from Épernay west, Massif de Saint-Thierry north and west of Rheims, Valley of the Ardre, the Mountains of Rheims (between Rheims and Épernay), Côte des Blancs, Côte de Sézanne, and Côte des Bar in the South. Champagne wine only uses three grape varietals (cépages): Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier.
