Tasted by IV+ on 3/31/2024 & rated 92 points: Dense and lemony with a rather gentle mousse for such a young champagne. Firm acidity. (740 views)
Tasted by Sean Tay on 3/1/2024 & rated 92 points: Medium+ nose intensity with notes of pear, apple, lemon, bread and toast. (986 views)
Tasted by flussier on 2/23/2024 & rated 91 points: Champagne raffiné avec bulle fine. Sur le minéral, pomme et citron. Long en bouche. Dommage de le boire si jeune (902 views)
Tasted by Jontypont on 1/7/2024: Def let this breathe - fairly indifferent until 1hr open (1274 views)
Tasted by ThijsPiet on 1/1/2024 & rated 92 points: Great balance. Uplifting acidity and fresh apple tastes. Can wait a few years to gain some complexity. Got better after an half hour open. (1136 views)
Tasted by Vinnut on 12/19/2023 & rated 93 points: Pale golden yellow in color with a very fine & constant perlage. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of apples, citrus notes of lemons/limes/grapefruit with overtones of floral & yeasty notes, brioche, almonds, stony/chalky, minerals & a hint of oak. Medium light bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of apples & citrus notes of lemons/limes/grapefruit with yeasty/toasty, roasted hazelnuts, stony & minerals. Long lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present although it should develop further with additional aging. An excellent Vintage Roederer! (1010 views)
Tasted by BottleScholar on 11/30/2023: Pale gold color. M+ aromatic and flavor intensity. Blossom, red and yellow grapefruit, lemon, raspberry, red cherry, red and yellow plum, white pepper, wet stone, biscuit, toasted bread, pastry, brioche, bread dough, vanilla, honey, dried apple, dried apricot. Fruit is just-ripe, with a bit of dried. Creamy. Dry. H acid. M alcohol. M+/Full body. M+/Long finish. Very Good. Suitable for aging. -NVWA assessment, mostly (955 views)
Tasted by KeithAkers on 11/15/2023 & rated 90 points: 2015 Louis Roederer Champagnes (Flor Wines, Portland OR): This shows off more distinct autolytic tones with a good bit of warm pastry dough and fresh bakery notes that lean into tones of red apples, kumquat, toast, pears, and some biscuits. The Medium bodied feel is textured and balanced with integrated, high acidity. There is a mouthwatering quality to the acidity and the autolytics show through well. But, this really just lacks that extra gear of depth across the nose and palate that would greatly add to the wine. (619 views)
Tasted by Ben Christiansen on 11/14/2023: All Grand Cru. 2/3 Pinot Noir, 1/3 Chardonnay. And really darn good. The tension and seamlessness across the palate. Lively and wonderful. And just darn delicious. No malo. (1330 views)
Tasted by Burgundy Al on 10/28/2023: La Fête du Champagne Grand Tasting (Pier Sixty - New York NY): Walkaround tasting with the producers. Rich and fun, too. Good energy. 60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay. (824 views)
Tasted by goldenplover on 9/23/2023 & rated 92 points: It reminded me of Victorian lemonade. The best possible glass of lemonade. Absolutely delicious. Leafy, zesty, tamed lemon. There's more to it than citrus, something herbaceous and maybe nutty, an appley undertow, a hint of peach, but there's not as much else going on as there might be. Totally delicious though. It stays in the mind. (1074 views)
Tasted by LeroyHilarious on 6/25/2023 & rated 94 points: This is SOOO good. Insane QPR.
Drink it with food, it’s very gastronomic. (1345 views)
Tasted by Stanrocks on 6/7/2023 & rated 89 points: From Diploma Exam :)

Put it Very Good close to outstanding, but lacked length and complexity to me to be that higher.

Given it was 8 years old I 'd expect even more secondary and tertiary character as truffle or a bit of honey, beeswax... it was very creamy, and dough like... hints of pastry and and brioche, not that much either !

Still found it was Champagne, but did not put it vintage.... I called extended lees aging though :)

All the best to anyone going through a D3 exam next ! it's tricky but so muchhhhh fun (1220 views)
Tasted by Joshvoulters on 5/17/2023 & rated 88 points: Lay & Wheeler Summer tasting: Fine, persistent mousse. On the sweet and broad side of Champagne: ripe apples and candied lemons, bready notes. (1418 views)
Tasted by Anders Danielsen Lie on 5/10/2023 & rated 88 points: Ganske lukket og ung vin med diskret typeriktige aromaer med bakst og autolyse. 70 pinot, 30 chardonnay. Non-malo, ligget 36 mnd på bunnfall. Dosage 9g/l. God men forsvarer nok ikke prisen slik den fremstår idag. (1309 views)
Tasted by Srenix on 5/9/2023 & rated 91 points: A very nice and open champagne direct at opening. Dominates of hazelnuts, brioche, lemon zest and red apples. Not a champagne you want several glasses of, perhaps a bit to high dosage for my preference.

This has long aging potential. (933 views)

France - When it comes to wine, France stands alone. No other country can beat it in terms of consistent quality and diversity. And while many of its Region, Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne most obviously, produce wine as rare, as sought-after and nearly as expensive as gold, there are just as many obscurities and values to be had from little known appellations throughout the country. To learn everything there is to know about French wine would take a lifetime. To understand and appreciate French wine, one only has to begin tasting them. Sub-Region:

Champagne - The French region of Champagne (including the cities of Rheims, Épernay, and Aÿ) was the first region in the world to make sparkling wine in any quantity. Today, the name of the region is synonymous with the finest of all sparkling wines, and wine-making traditions of Champagne have become role models for sparkling wine producers, worldwide. Surprisingly, the region of Champagne is now responsible for only one bottle in 12 of all sparkling wine produced. Styles of champagne range in sweetness ranging from an extra brut or brut 0, to the basic brut to demi sec to doux; some houses produce single vintage champagnes and others produce non-vintage (or incorporate wines/grapes of multiple vintages), often to preserve a specific taste; combinations of grape varietals; and colors, including a rosé. There are several sub-appellations, including the Valley of the Marnes river running from Épernay west, Massif de Saint-Thierry north and west of Rheims, Valley of the Ardre, the Mountains of Rheims (between Rheims and Épernay), Côte des Blancs, Côte de Sézanne, and Côte des Bar in the South. Champagne wine only uses three grape varietals (cépages): Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier.
