Raspberry with savory spices (more so than the usual cooking spices) and herbs in the nose. Paired really well with spicy pork. Can't believe this was $12. Fantastic QPR for that, and with this in mind am raising my score from 91 to 92. (2002 views) |

It bites for the first hour but settles down with aromas of dark fruit and some spice, mostly eucalyptus and licorice. It's a good cocktail drinker but blends well with spicy pork and chipotle black beans. Balanced flavors of dark fruit, graphite licorice and leather. The finish is just right-mouth drying with a touch of burn and a fair amount of peppery cocoa. (2482 views) |
