Tasted by red.red.vino on 10/25/2019: This has softened a lot over the last couple years, in the 2nd half of its drinking window now, drink over the next 12 months. (1608 views)
Tasted by Wolffy on 3/12/2018 & rated 95 points: Loved it - perfect balance, lovely fruit and depth and medium finish. Wish I had some more! (2484 views)
Tasted by red.red.vino on 1/25/2018: In the decanter for 2-3 hours prior to tasting. Seems too young still, try again next year. (2476 views)
Tasted by Bernard Shen on 5/14/2017 & rated 90 points: Overall ok if not for the short to medium finish. Mouthfeel was velvety and luscious but lacked tannin structure. (3451 views)
Tasted by Goodjob! on 5/14/2016 & rated 90 points: Very good for the price but felt a little short and thin beside2008 Jonh Duval GSM Plexus. Beautiful fruit indeed and highly recommendable. I liked it very much. (3606 views)
Tasted by graemeg on 5/8/2016: {screwcap, 14.5%} In the mold of this label, which is to say that for me it always seems a bit shallow and short-finishing; never faulty, but just tasting like it’s made from high-yield grapes. Generic red fruit flavours, minimal oak and tannin, barely balancing acid; simple, unpretentious medium-bodied wine made to be drunk young and rather forgotten… (2611 views)
Tasted by phil the agony on 2/20/2015 & rated 90 points: Vraiment une belle surprise du nouveau monde.
Carafé 1h température pièce.
La robe est mauve grosse douceur.
Au nez , smell the new world solidement.
(2588 views)
Tasted by Brettski80 on 1/9/2015 & rated 95 points: Rich dark plum colour, this vintage is aging beautifully with loads of life left. The intensity of the fruit and spice combination really starting to develop, and that Northen Barossa Terrior is simply Devine! (2440 views)
Tasted by Mic Mac on 12/11/2014 & rated 93 points: Brilliant from the get go. (2193 views)
Tasted by themadmini on 8/26/2014: Opened about 2 hours before the BBQ'd Sirloin was ready. Lovely but still a little closed. Finished the following night and it was fantastic. Will decant next bottle for at least 2-3 hours. (2045 views)
Tasted by Brettski80 on 8/3/2014 & rated 95 points: - Brick color - Not overly complex, somewhat restrained yet balanced to perfection and simply delicious. Has mellowed since tasting 2 years ago, and plenty of life ahead with luscious black fruits, hints of spice and great texture across the palate. (2023 views)
Tasted by WineChief on 9/17/2013 & rated 91 points: This is my first taste of the 2010 after being very impressed by a 6 year old 2006. Not as dark as I thought it would have been but great red and black fruits, a little spice and licorice and a real swathering of tannins that coat all of the mouth. I think it will be even better on the 2nd night. Will keep my other two bottle for another couple of years before I crack them. Excellent value. I bought this for $AUD16 per bottle. (2364 views)
Tasted by Mic Mac on 7/16/2013 & rated 91 points: Beautiful nose of plum and milk chocolate. Even better palate with soft plummy fruit with soft supporting tannin. Dangerously gluggable, while surprisingly sophisticated and interesting. (2010 views)
Tasted by Brettski80 on 12/24/2012 & rated 95 points: - Brick color. It's in total harmony with a medium/full body. Round texture with a long finish. (2350 views)
Tasted by Brettski80 on 11/17/2012 & rated 95 points: - Brick color. It's balanced with a full body. Smooth texture with a long finish. (2169 views)
Tasted by Brettski80 on 10/20/2012 & rated 95 points: - Violet color. It's balanced with a medium/full body. Satin-Like texture with a medium finish - WOW! Vivid violet colour radiating depth. Blackcurrant fruit with a perfect sweetness and complex character for such a young wine. Very balanced but perhaps lacking a hint of acidity to raise its character to the next level. Certainly needs 10+ years but could not resist. Alcoholic Ribena and a stunning wine for the price tag. (2238 views)
Tasted by Drinking Trees on 8/16/2012: Blackcurrant cordial with raspberry. Young, sweet and very concentrated; too concentrated for me to enjoy. (1810 views)
Tasted by Hartley0 on 7/6/2012: The wine attracted favourable comment but it was consumed late in the night. (1797 views)
Tasted by Hartley0 on 3/11/2012: Drinking well. Still some more time. Well balanced but not heavy. (1666 views)
Tasted by graemeg on 3/5/2012: NobleRottersSydney - Current Release Reds (Alio's, Surry Hills): [14.5%, screwcap, A$27] {DavidC} Very young, very big. Strawberry jam aromas. Has this fermented yet? Smells of charcoal, vanilla, chocolate. Modern Barossa shiraz from central casting. Full-bodied with plush red fruits and vanilla oak flavouring, but only soft dusty tannins and not much acid to support it. Intense; dry I suppose, although there’s so much sweetness to the flavours here I did wonder about residual sugar. Still only medium-length finish. A lavish party wine to be drunk within three years. (2065 views)
Tasted by Paco55 on 2/5/2012 & rated 89 points: - Ruby color. It's somewhat balanced with a full body. Fleshy texture with a medium finish - Good value barossa red with jammy fruit, plumbs and ripe cherries. No real depth although very enjoyable for the price. (1789 views)
Tasted by VinoHobo on 12/24/2011 & rated 95 points: Deep broding plums and black fruits. A wonderfully infectious nose with vanillan oak and subtle black pepper. The palate was soft but rich blackberry fruit, soft oak with spot on texture and tannins. Great finish and weight. Ridiculous bargain for the price at $17. (1926 views)
