Tasted by Mpotstada on 5/29/2015: Plum, blackberries, vanilla with black pepper, star anise, and spice box (2158 views)
Tasted by FullerFamily on 3/17/2014 & rated 78 points: The quality of these bottles have swing wildly from some of our favorite shiraz glasses to almost undrinkable. The last two bottles were just disappointing. Hmmmm (3212 views)
Tasted by Yankee on 5/20/2013 & rated 89 points: On the nose there's dry smokey wood, syrupy blackberry, green pepper & anise ~ On the palate it's big round & juicy with flavours of black cherry, jammy plums, black liquorice & vanilla ~ Easy to drink & easy to like this one (4216 views)
Tasted by yofog on 4/20/2013 & rated 70 points: Medicinal plum and greenery, mag-wine taste, pretty terrible, actually. We opened a second bottle just to be sure, and that one was just as bad. (4318 views)
Tasted by noshooz on 3/19/2013 & rated 88 points: A very smooth blend of shiraz and one of my favorite whites, viognier. Good fruit on the shiraz, with the crispness of the viognier in tandem. (4618 views)
Tasted by wrmccall on 11/2/2012: This ia a nice blend of mostly shiraz with some viognier added. The result is an easy drinking wine with berries and some minerality noted. I would expect this to mature into a really excellant wine if you want to wait. (3602 views)
Tasted by Rupasov on 10/29/2012 & rated 88 points: Очень приятное, яркое, свежее вино за крайне разумные деньги.

Почки черной смородины, слива, дубленая кожа, чуть дымка. Вкус с яркой кислотностью и с ядреной смородиновой нотой и шероховатыми танинами, но в то же время идеально округлый и мягкий. Послевкусие среднее, терпкое, ягодное.

Симпатично! 15.5/20 (2608 views)
Tasted by Ben Christiansen on 10/24/2012: Greener than I remember, but full of fruit and juice. Works it out at $12 or so. (2039 views)
Tasted by danielbleier on 10/10/2012 & rated 86 points: no detailed notes, drank this over several days. Floral nose, tastes of plum and dark cherry. Decent fruit and acidity - good QPR. (1908 views)
Tasted by bianca15 on 7/28/2012 & rated 88 points: Another great Yalumba Shiraz. This is a step up from the basic and its very full flavored and smooth. The 5% Voignier is the key. Buy again. (1617 views)
Tasted by vijay0129 on 7/26/2012 & rated 87 points: Plummy tart and fruity (2339 views)
Tasted by Zoltán Németi on 7/21/2012 & rated 88 points: There is an Old World touch to this wine, a sense of restraint. No oak, no over-ripeness. Lots of fruits on the nose, sweet blueberries, black currants, and some syrah spiciness. On the palate it's medium to full bodied, with medium acid and a nice, smooth texture. Very fruity in the flavors as well, and slightly saline. Tannins surprisingly low, though that seems to be an Aussie standard (just to compare, even a little Beaujolais Villages is more tannic, especially in relation to the wine's body). The finish is a little hot, but overall, such a well made, nice wine. Drink now. (1526 views)
Tasted by xorgnz on 12/29/2011 & rated 87 points: Big Gaming Week 2011 (Tony's place): Interesting - this was my first Shiraz / Viognier blend. Strong cooked fruit flavours, with a little spice. I got plum pudding, blackcurrant jam, a little clove. Seemed to develop well over the course of drinking (30 minutes or so). (2449 views)
