Tasted by mdavis on 4/17/2011: So 2003..I can't believe I bought this. (4480 views)
Tasted by french16 on 6/1/2010: Some VA but a real deep pure nose behind with some leather and floral notes with strawberry and dark fruits. Licorice complete the picture. Med body, high acidity, especially for 2003. Cocoa and chocolate completes what is a complex wine despite the VA and disjointed acidity. A pure, real, true wine. (4384 views)
Tasted by rjonwine@gmail.com on 8/8/2006 flawed bottle: Chave, Clape, Barral and Grange des Perres (Vin Vino Wines, Palo Alto, California): Baked rhubarb, vanilla and boysenberry nose; too jammy and oaky, unbalanced, with medium oaky finish (possible problem case, since at least two bottles tasted off like this, and not the way the store owner remembered it from a prior tasting) 81 pts. (3235 views)
