Community Tasting Notes

Tasted by Kirk Grant on 9/27/2012: Etheral aromas of funk, green banana, and citrus with a tart acidic backbone on the palate. In time almost earthy aromas of slightly toasted oak hint at something really special. (1296 views)
Tasted by grafstrb on 9/23/2012: -- from 750 mL bottle –
-- bottled on Aug. 22, 2007 --

Considerable sediment present. A bit of mold underneath the crown cap and on top of the cork. Hazy orange color. No carbonation. Sour vinegary Nose. Medium-light bodied on the palate; strong but rounded sourness --- lemony sour; a bit of stony dryness on the mid palate and finish; full palate; has years left in it. This is beer is made exclusively from a selection of Cantillon’s finest 2 yr.-old lambic, hence its vintage designation. (1236 views)
