Tasted by lepetitchateau on 11/6/2022 & rated 90 points: Smooth and pleasant, lost its grip but pleasing and round. (366 views)
Tasted by eatdrinkrepeat on 9/3/2020 & rated 90 points: While I found some more expensive 2011s have faded, this Jadot was punching above its weight class. Still loads of citrus balanced by good acidity through the end. The wine had a hint of greenness which enhanced its intrigue. The oak was more prominent on the finish. A very solid wine. (803 views)
Tasted by peterchoy on 4/28/2020 & rated 90 points: Appearance: Bright and clear, the wine is of medium lemon with fading rim and legs.
Nose: Clean, with medium (-) intensity aromas of citrus fruit of lemon, green fruit of green apple, mineral notes of stony, tropical fruit of pineapple and sugarcane, oak notes of toast, maturity notes of mushroom. The wine is developing.
Palate: Dry with medium (+) acidity, the wine has medium alcohol and medium body, medium (+) intensity flavors of citrus fruit of lemon, green fruit of apple, stone fruit of peach, oak notes of toast, mineral notes of stony, autolytic notes of bread. The wine has a medium (+) finish.
Conclusion: Good quality Puligny-Montrachet with a decent nose showing good complexity, the nose has a citrus and apple note to begin, with hints of oak and good minerality, then gradually evolving into more tropical pineapple and sugarcane aromas. On the palate it is clean and well-balanced, with a firm structure of similar flavour profiles. The finish is quite strong and lengthy, it is ready to drink now but can benefit from further ageing of another 2-3 years. (818 views)
Tasted by davidb18 on 2/24/2020 & rated 92 points: This is a well structured wine. Apples, tropical fruit and lemon; the right balance of oak. Slightly sweet on the finish. Drinking well. A nice, well made white burg with the benefit of a few years of cellar. (809 views)
Tasted by erikkunz1 on 10/5/2019 & rated 90 points: Nice, slightly atypical White Burg. Not great QPR but enjoyable. (835 views)
Tasted by Burgundy Al on 3/8/2019 & rated 90 points: La Paulée de New York - The Verticals (Eventi Hotel - New York NY): Tasting, brief note. Floral with apple, some lemon hints. Moderate weight, very good energy, very good length. Best now through the next 5 years. (1301 views)
Tasted by Nanda on 3/8/2019: La Paulée de NY Verticals Tasting (Kimpton Hotel Eventi): 11/10/04 Nose is a bit shy expressing a hint of mineral. Palate has good chewy fruit with some spice. Better in a few years? 88+ (1303 views)
Tasted by chbeaumont on 10/13/2018 & rated 93 points: starbright; lithe, deft, vanilla blancmange; effortless, precise palate; extended finish. Drink now & next three years. (744 views)
Tasted by mdfuller on 2/5/2017 & rated 92 points: just a treat ... way better than the super bowl ... a wonderful white wine (1346 views)
Tasted by PC73 on 4/13/2015 & rated 90 points: First time I'd tried this wine. Very distinctive. Tropical notes on nose and palate. Think pineapple. Good balance and acidity, but definitely not a classic Puligny. Certainly interesting but not my preference of style. (1934 views)
Tasted by cos65 on 6/29/2014: Boerne wine club - Chassagne vs Meursault vs Puligny: Typically a wine I've enjoyed very much, but at a very awkward stage right now. Light straw colored, nice bright citrus and green apple flavors, but with a very smoky, oaky finish - like American oak which was a bit off putting at this stage. Maybe this will come around better? Clearly could stand some more time. (2881 views)
Tasted by d'Yquembe Mutombo on 6/8/2014: Best after being opened for 24 hours. Light footed on entry, explosive on the finish--like a bomb with a delayed fuse. Key lime, meyer lemon, lime skittles/starburst candy. Some minerality and as well. Very pure flavor profile. Massive acidity sends the salivary glands into overdrive. Alcohol is a touch out of balance. Overall very good. (2100 views)

Burgundy

Les vins de Bourgogne (Bureau interprofessionnel des vins de Bourgogne) (and in English)

Burgundy - The province of eastern France, famous for its red wines produced from Pinot Noir and its whites produced from Chardonnay. (Small of amounts of Gamay and Aligoté are still grown, although these have to be labeled differently.) The most famous part of the region is known as the Cote d'Or (the Golden Slope). It is divided into the Cote de Beaune, south of the town of Beaune (famous principally for its whites), and the Cote de Nuits, North of Beaune (home of the most famous reds). In addition, the Cote Chalonnaise and the Maconnais are important wine growing regions, although historically a clear level (or more) below the Cote d'Or. Also included by some are the regions of Chablis and Auxerrois, farther north.

# 2013 Vintage Notes:
* "2013 is a vintage that 20 years ago would have been a disaster." - Will Lyons
* "low yields and highly variable reds, much better whites." - Bill Nanson
* "Virtually all wines were chaptalised, with a bit of sugar added before fermentation to increase the final alcohol level." - Jancis Robinson

# 2014 Vintage Notes:
"We have not had such splendid harvest weather for many years. This will ensure high quality (fragrant, classy and succulent are words already being used) across the board, up and down the hierarchy and well as consistently from south to north geographically apart from those vineyards ravaged by the hail at the end of June." - Clive Coates

# 2015 Vintage Notes:
"Low yields and warm weather allowed for ample ripeness, small berries and an early harvest. Quality is looking extremely fine, with some people whispering comparisons with the outstanding 2005 vintage. Acid levels in individual wines may be crucial." - Jancis Robinson

# 2017 Vintage Notes:
"Chablis suffered greatly from frost in 2017, resulting in very reduced volumes. As ever, the irony seems to be that what remains is very good quality, as it is in the Côte d’Or. Cooler nights across the region have resulted in higher-than-usual acidity, with good conditions throughout the harvest season allowing for ripe, healthy fruit." - Jancis Robinson

# 2018 Vintage Notes:
"The most successful region for red Burgundy in 2018 was the Côte de Beaune. The weather was ideal in this area, with just enough sunlight and rain to produce perfectly balanced wines naturally." - Vinfolio
