Tasted by Mike Kopanski on 11/1/2014 & rated 85 points: Nothing really wrong, but also not very much there. It definitely has real Riesling aromas and flavors, they are just kind of simple and not very concentrated. I guess what I am disappointed with is the lack of that secondary, viscous honeyed flavor we almost always get with German Riesling. Most of the flavor across my palate is big acid. There is some nectarine, peach and apple. It is very refreshing, and it did not cost very much. (2409 views)
Tasted by Johannes.knops@xjtlu.edu.cn on 10/11/2014 & rated 85 points: clean, easy drinking, great for the price (2424 views)
Tasted by professordoktor on 7/21/2014: Off dry, almost semi-sweet. Peach nectar and skins, ripe pear, tart lemon acid. Simple, but not bad for the very low price. (2397 views)
Tasted by Baron Slick on 6/11/2013 & rated 86 points: Light straw. Sweet, candied notes of pears, apricots, honeysuckle, and 7-Up. Slaty minerality, strident acidity, and briny on the finish. (2699 views)

#2014 Vintage Notes:
2014 Vintage Report by Terry Theise
2014 Vintage Report by Wine Spectator
"My gut still tells me the Saar (and to some extent) the Ruwer are better overall in 2014 than the more storied areas of the Mosel proper, but those that spent the requisite time living in their middle-Mosel vineyards made some of the most electric and "feathery" Riesling in a long time (maybe the finest in 20 years - yes, it's true!)" - Jon Rimmerman (Of course only a very short historical memory would call the Saar and Ruwer less 'storied' than the middle Mosel - jht)
