I usually find it so mild that I would prefer a glass of water. But, I tried this after meeting a couple of reps from Masi at Costco in Scottsdale. One of them actually was sympathetic to my usual assessment of most pinot grigios, but brought to my attention the addition of verduzzo, which he thought really added complexity and weight. It was only $11, so I thought, why not - give it a try. My idea of living on the edge :-) I was pleasantly surprised. Certainly easy to drink, more weight and minerality, which adds complexity, than other pinot grigios. Would buy it again - definitely worth a try. PS - I see someone else gave this a 75 rating. Unless they had a flawed bottle, I really can't imagine what would cause that. (781 views) |
