Tasted by RussK on 4/11/2021 & rated 76 points: Russk. Andrea opened up at her house the night we had Indian food. This is the 2nd or 3rd time I've had this wine. Some of the best expression of sour, earthy, savory, carbonic Cabernet franc, with slight effervescence. Very little sweet fruit. Some palate cleansing bitterness in the finish. If you're expecting a lot of bubbles you will be disappointed. Doesn't bother me . Hugely interesting wine. Get more in the high 20s from garagiste (570 views)
Tasted by Pinotfanbg on 12/4/2020 & rated 90 points: Crown cap sealed. This releases a bit of captured CO2 on opening. Just a hint of Brett scent, sour cherry and chalk. Subtle floral note similar to Gamay is noted. Rich, dark purple color with no fading and good density on the palate. Ripe red plum flavor, chalky minerality and a bit of grip on the finish. The tannins are fully ripe and present. This has a solid acid back bone to age on. While natural in vinification and subject to the typical issues with natural wine, if kept in a cold cellar, this will age for many years, especially with a crown cap. 90 points now with room for future improvement.  Tasted by Francophile on 11/26/2018: On prising off the metal cap there was a loud hiss and gasses followed. On pouring the wine, it was very fizzy and took a long time to settle down. It was quite a surprise to find it like this and did put me off a little. After the fizzing subsided I took a sip but it was very acidic and harsh. I subsequently read other reviews and see the high score. I love Cabernet Franc but this was not a wine for me. After a couple of hours with it still as harsh I threw the remainder away. I decided not to give it a score as it is clearly an acquired taste. If I did score it, it would have been in the mid 70s. (1070 views)

Tasted by David Paris (dbp) on 6/13/2017 & rated 91 points: This is a bit spritzy, lively, funky wine! The plastic stopper in there really flies free when you pop it off, so you know it's alive in there. It needs a little bit of time to settle into its comfortable place, as its a bit "bacterial" upon first opening. I put that in quotes because whatever note comes across that way dissipates over time and it winds up like a more typical Touraine. So a couple hours on, the aromas are fairly restrained, showing graphite and other powdery dark mineral tones, blackberry seeds with just the slightest bit of blackberry meat, and overall just a lovely subtle expression. Palate entry is quite zippy, showing slight frizzante but more of the liveliness is due to its acidity and tartness. This tartness only intensifies as its held in the mouth and you again get more of those alive yeasty notes. Finish shows similarly, with plentiful fine grained tannins paired with that prolific acidity. As time goes on (10, 20, 30 seconds) it just continues to intensify and lean out, before finally fading away at a minute. A really lovely experience, but probably not one for the uninitiated. I know plenty of intelligent wine friends who would hate this. If the 2005 version of this wine is any indication, I think these will improve from here, but will drink their best in the first 5-8 years of their life. I look forward to another shortly.
