Tasted by kkleg on 4/7/2023 & rated 92 points: Similar note to my last bottle, but I’m giving it one more point. Very nice. (165 views)
Tasted by kkleg on 10/12/2022 & rated 91 points: Fading a little bit, but still very drinkable. More like a White Burgundy than a huge California oak bomb at this stage. A steal at the $11 I paid. (202 views)
Tasted by thh18731 on 3/17/2019 & rated 90 points: Excellent Chardonnay from Miner. Fruit forward that is nicely balanced with acidity and minerality. (574 views)
Tasted by bestdamncab on 9/2/2018 & rated 91 points: Nose of citrus, lemon oil, and mums bouquet, same on the palate, medium body, tasty, mouth filling fruit, subtle, elegant, showing it's age so time to drink up, a great wine for those who like ABC, and a long, flavorful finish. (1078 views)
Tasted by bestdamncab on 7/1/2018 & rated 91 points: Nose of citrus, spring flowers, and lemon oil, same on the palate, medium body, tasty, mouth filling fruit, at its best-time to enjoy, one part White Burgundy and two parts Napa Chardonnay, with a long, flavorful finish. (1109 views)
Tasted by Lockareff on 6/22/2018 & rated 92 points: Nice, rich chardonnay. (685 views)
Tasted by bestdamncab on 3/24/2018 & rated 90 points: Nose of citrus, honeycomb, spring flowers, and lemon oil, same on the palate, medium/big body, tasty, mouth filling fruit, subtle and elegant, easy to enjoy since it has peaked, one third the way to White Burgundy and for those who want something different than a Napa Valley Chardonnay, with a long, fruity finish. (1023 views)
Tasted by bestdamncab on 12/20/2017 & rated 92 points: At Miner Family this morning, nose of allspice, lemon, lime, slate, and spring flowers, same on the palate, big body, tasty, mouth filling fruit, easy to enjoy but will improve the next 2 years, rich fruit, half way to a White Burgundy for those tired of Napa Valley Chardonnay, and a long finish. (847 views)
Tasted by bestdamncab on 12/12/2017 & rated 92 points: Nose of minerals, citrus, spring flowers, and honeycomb, same on the palate, big body, tasty, mouth filling fruit, easy to enjoy but probable better with 2 years cellar time, for those who want something different than a Napa Valley Chardonnay, and a long, flavorful finish. (808 views)
Tasted by gew71walsh on 10/28/2017 & rated 90 points: Lots of oak. Some melon and pear on the palate. Finish leaves a spicy aftertaste. Went well with shrimp appetizer. (392 views)

Chardonnay

The Chardonnay Grape

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
