Appearance is clear, deep intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of earth, green capsicum and stem, dark herbs, blackberries, black cherries, dark violets. Developed.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), medium+ tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of rustic earth, capsicum spices, green herbs, blackberries, black cherries, smoky tobacco. Long finish.
Very good quality. I am quite forgiving of green notes nowadays, and when not overly dominant, they add to the overall complexity character. Nice Cab Franc. Bernard Baudry always reliable. Distinct but somewhat muted notes of cranberry and raspberry lift from the glass along with some mushroom earthiness. Some sandalwood and cinnamon appear as the wine opens. All the same on the palate and continuing through the finish. The dominate note is the crunchy cranberry flavor. A solid wine but not delivering as much as I would have expected from this vintage. A shadowy streak of sediment runs along the side of the bottle. 13% alc. With assorted blue cheeses, Appalachian cheese and crusty bread. 03.15.24. Recommended. D'une grande finesse, nous avons droit à un Cab-Franc pure, sans note végétal ou de poivron, légèrement viandé mais en total harmonie avec l'abondance de fruits rouges et noirs.
Le vin possède des tannins hyper bien intégrés, une acidité à point, bref un vin spectaculaire pour 35$

Très beau vin à maturité
La robe : relativement claire, évoluée avec des reflets orange. Belles larmes fines.
Nez : Sur le laurier sauce, le poivre. Puis cela tire un peu sur le pinot, la cerise, un peu d'humus.
En bouche : les tanins sont déliés. C'est un vin en longueur avec une très belle persistance aromatique. On retrouve des arômes identiques à ceux du nez.
