Tasted by PAMartin on 3/7/2018 & rated 87 points: The perfect wine to have with fresh pasta and tomato sauce. (518 views)
Tasted by KillerJones on 12/13/2017 & rated 88 points: Are you having baked lasagna and need a wine to match? Then look no further....(does this sound like a commercial? Lol)

Simple, easy-going, lightly reductive style Chianti, with pleasant herbal-tarragon flavours, black licorice and cherry flavours.

The palate is juicy and mouth-watering; with an above average finish.

Save me some lasagna, ok. (826 views)

Frascole

Producer website zienda Agricola Frascole Situated at 400 meters above sea level, their small farm stretches over 98 hectares with 15 planted with vineyards.
The family home is bustling with the likes of threeactive children. The cellars and their barriques hold the prize of their organicfarming, 100 % Sangiovese based Chianti Rufina, while their olive trees produce some of the finest extra virgin organic olive oil that we have ever tasted.
The order of the day is simplicity and honesty - there is an understated elegance to the life that they lead. Their wines speak of purity, and the hospitality with which the wines are served is exemplary.

Sangiovese Blend

Sangiovese blend is used in CellarTracker for Italian wines to represent wines predominantly made of Sangiovese and blended with traditional Italian grapes. It is different than SuperTuscan which is a blend of Sangiovese with non-traditional (eg Bordeaux) varieties, often in closer to equal portions. For example, Chianti is at least 80% Sangiovese and will always be listed Sangiovese blend.
