Later some herbs. Palate very light and silky. No heaviness here at all. Got better with time to add just at smidgeon of sweetness and body. Perhaps faded after 3 hours to show a little of it's 14.5%abv alcohol and hint of portiness. Rather good, especially for a so-so vintage. Earthy grenache flavours with a bit of kirsch but it is somewhat marred by a slightly bitter finish. Some of this might be the problem of the vintage rather than the wine.
