Nose of dark cherry, charcoal, red bell pepper, violets, and a creamy chocolate/nougat character. Palate is much less complex, with one-dimensional flavors of sour cherry and tangy berry. Falls away quickly with a very short finish. Overall, easy drinking, not bad for an 8-year-old $20 Merlot. (2486 views) |
