Tasted by CurlerSue on 7/15/2017: Acrobat - Full Flavour (1306 views)
Tasted by jermainiac on 4/7/2017 & rated 85 points: Sulphur on the nose at opening. Mineral. Slight sweetness. Nothing to offend or wow. (970 views)
Tasted by Wine Snobs on 5/29/2016 & rated 88 points: It was just right with Honey Ginger Grilled Shrimp. We finished it after we polished off the dinner and could appreciate the subtle fruit and grass tastes. Nice! (1371 views)
Tasted by aagrawal on 10/17/2015 & rated 80 points: Non aromatic; medium bodied, medium acid, simple; short-medium finish. 80 (1951 views)
Tasted by ExtractedJuice on 8/31/2015 & rated 88 points: Pale golden yellow, transparent. Lemon peel, slate, spritz of tangerine on the nose. Mild acidity, no residual sugar, floral and fruity. Would buy again. Had with a nice mild bruschetta. (2161 views)
Tasted by Ellen5181 on 8/9/2015 & rated 86 points: Appearance - clear, light gold
Nose - feeling a little alcohol burn on the eyes. Ok, so not really nose but this is what you get when sniffing! Definitely get wet fur. Aromatic. Getting ripe kiwi. Ripe banana. Sweet tropical fruits.
Palette - I'm getting unripe grapefruit. It's juicy, good acidity, a little bitterness on finish, a taste that lingers, as well as lingering acidity, but not really pronounced fruit. I'm sticking with an unripe juicy grapefruit.

It a decent drinking wine for what it is. I may have paid a bit more (NYC premium) than I should for what I got. (1305 views)
Tasted by dunno260 on 8/9/2015 & rated 87 points: Clear, pale yellow in glass. Subtle nose that smelled spritzy (no frisante in glass). Lime peel was primary component on nose, some other faint citrus notes as well. Dry wine on the palate showing a light body with crisp acicity. Good balance between the fruit, acid, and alcohol. Medium finish on the palate. Front palate nails the nose exactly, mid palate transitions to a little more of a lemon zest, pear, and hint of watermelon. Finishes with green apple and lemon juice.

Overall, solid bottle. Have had better and worse at the price point. Can find everywhere so a good go to if you have to buy something in a large grocery store. Not something I would seek out to stock the cellar with (1466 views)
Tasted by jonahfactor on 5/15/2015: A wine that asks not to be taken too seriously. At eight bucks who cares. The color of bleached straw with a pretty necklace. Muted in the nose, but a delight as you sip it, offering up floral and tropical notes. Interestingly, the bouquet shows up in the finish, with field flowers and zesty herbs (camomile, rosemary, thyme). Very bright and refreshing. This will find its way onto the patio this summer.  Tasted by hubas on 5/3/2015 & rated 86 points: Normal white wine yellow :)

Aroma: Lots of pear and a bit of herbs. Hint of white pepper and mineral, gun powder.

taste: full bodied, medium- acidity. Nice and rather long after taste (1488 views)
Tasted by jbehrendt on 4/22/2015 & rated 88 points: Drank as an aperitif. Quite enjoyable. Seems as good as the more expensive Pinot Gris from this winery. (797 views)
Tasted by fm1488 on 4/20/2015 & rated 87 points: Drank as part of a Pinot Gris tasting. Covered four others from Washington, Monterey, Italy, and Alsace. I've had Acrobat before so new it would be decent. The field overall was pretty close but this one tied out with the Alsace. Very different wines as the Alsace maintained 24% residual sugar but of the four dry Pinot Gris, this one topped the Kestrel, the Geretto, and the La Crema. Kind of surprised there. Wine was floral and fruity on the nose. Good minerality. Very nicely balanced and as others note, just a very enjoyable easy drinking wine that is great at the price point. (697 views)
Tasted by jbehrendt on 3/27/2015 & rated 88 points: A nicely priced, enjoyable Pinot Gris. Not very complex, but still tasty. (729 views)
Tasted by sunalsorises on 3/9/2015 & rated 87 points: Simple easy drinking food wine. No pretenses which is a good thing. Nice crisp finish. (572 views)
Tasted by Vkrishan on 1/2/2015 & rated 88 points: Crisp, hint sweet... Will buy again for seafood night! (883 views)
Tasted by foobarski on 12/26/2014 & rated 86 points: More fruity, not as mineral, but still very crisp and bright. Good with a chicken and arugula white pizza. (623 views)
Tasted by wadcorp on 11/10/2014 & rated 84 points: Hmm… not hitting right. This isn't bad, more like one-note. Did come across as more sauvignon blanc than pinot gris. A bit sharp, some light citrus, grasses & not much else. Left me wanting for more, and I didn't get it. (1093 views)
Tasted by Tim and Bonnie on 9/6/2014 & rated 91 points: What a well balanced wine! Lands somewhere between a Sauvignon Blanc and a Chardonnay. Enjoyed with red snapper and it was outstanding. Bonnie kept asking for another pour. (975 views)
Tasted by Mrslavender on 7/24/2014 & rated 85 points: Good job Oregon I can almost taste the pouring rain (1104 views)

Pinot Gris

From Pinot Gris Wikipedia entry:
Wines made from the Pinot gris vary greatly and are dependent on the region and wine making style they are from. Alsatian Pinot gris are medium to full bodied wines with a rich, somewhat floral bouquet. They tend to be spicy in comparisons with other Pinot gris. While most Pinot gris are meant to be consumed early, Alsatian Pinot gris can age well. German Pinot gris are more full-bodied with a balance of acidity and slight sweetness. In Oregon the wines are medium bodied with a yellow to copper-pink color and aromas of pear, apple, and/or melon. In California, the Pinot gris are more light bodied with a crisp, refreshing taste with some pepper and arugula notes. The Pinot grigio style of Italy is a light-bodied, often lean wine that is light in color with sometimes spritzy flavors that can be crisp and acidic. Although this wine can be very sweet, it will begin to lose its acidity when it is nearly ripe.

Pinot gris is considered an "early to market wine" that can be bottled and out on the market within 4–12 weeks after fermentation.

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.
