Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of lavender, currants, plums and black berries. Flavors of black raspberries, cherries and boysenberries. Palate - Smooth, fruit forward, Dark Cherries, Raspberries, Plum, Blackberries, At or slightly past it's prime Drink now. Opened up as sat in glass as evening war on, everyone at table, 19 persons, though it was best wine of the evening.
