Tasted by _water.into.wine_ on 6/11/2023: Tropical notes and lychees are the dominant notes for me. Very Light. Pale in colour. Fresh and vibrant. Perfect for fish and Japanese. From LipJin. (1371 views)
Tasted by hargy on 7/6/2022 & rated 91 points: lovely and light and certainly ready to drink, this is has distinctive floral tones - much better with food - drink or leave (2004 views)
Tasted by becassine on 11/10/2021 & rated 90 points: Trop mielleux a mon goût
Mieux apres 3 heures d’oxygénations
Pas mon style!!!! (2559 views)
Tasted by Xavier Auerbach on 10/11/2021 & rated 92 points: Flower honey, ripe but elegant style without excessive weight (13.5% ABV), fresh and supple, very gentle pyrazines, excellent length. (3129 views)
Tasted by rjm on 7/9/2021 & rated 90 points: Lovely (2494 views)
Tasted by KeithAkers on 3/22/2021 & rated 93 points: #sancerrestudy (My place, Chicago IL): The nose is intensely perfumed and fresh, filling the glass with tones of saline, lemon peels, crushed rocks, mineral tones, green apples, pears, tropical citrus notes, peaches, and loads of white flowers. The Medium bodied feel is pristine and balanced with mouthwatering, high acidity. There is an underlying intensity to everything here. You have a normal, really good Sancerre but just dialed up an extra notch or so. This could likely use a couple of years to balance out a bit, but this is a drop-dead gorgeous Sancerre. (1737 views)
Tasted by Zweder on 9/7/2020 & rated 89 points: Gang of 5 in Covid19 times; Loire (@ RW): In the overall a bit locked bouquet some flowers. On the palate limestone minerals, nicely dry with some oak, sweetness and pleasant acidity. For now 89, but with some more ageing probably a bit higher. (3054 views)
Tasted by GAET on 7/18/2020 & rated 93 points: Robe : jaune Limpide, brillante.
Excellent (2639 views)
Tasted by Miani84 on 5/4/2020 & rated 93 points: This is the second bottle I had in two months and I'm amazed how approachable it is at the moment. Normally you have to wait at least 5 years (preferably 10!) but this is already so open. It seems that Cotat uses a notch more wood recently but I don't see that as something negative as the wine is beautifully balanced. (2670 views)
Tasted by jhw425 on 5/3/2020 & rated 89 points: I would echo the wait from prior note but did enjoy this one. Good texture not really sweet (2450 views)
Tasted by jhw425 on 1/12/2020 & rated 88 points: Ok not great. Has the blue fruits I love but a weird mix of light/heavy and dry/sweet. Probably just needs some time to sort itself out. Would recommend holding through 2022 (2759 views)
Tasted by Deux Chevaux on 9/30/2019: Bright, elegant, and simultaneously with drive. Jviz’s note below is otherwise apt for us. (At Madcap, San Anselmo.) (2381 views)
Tasted by jviz on 5/26/2019 & rated 93 points: The degree of elegance and finesse in this wine is really impressive. It's difficult for me to imagine sauvignon blanc tasting much better than this. There is grassy, floral, soft tree fruits like apricot, balanced acidity but not too brisk. The wine is genteel enough that it doesn't marry with all foods though, choose something with minimal spice and more subtle flavors (2677 views)
Tasted by diggydan on 3/29/2019 & rated 91 points: Fairly big wine with some yellow fruit, fennel, and green herbals. (2223 views)
Tasted by Poussin on 3/16/2019 & rated 92 points: My first experience with this vineyard. On opening the aromatics are varietal-driven, with nettles and grass over sweet herbs. Eventually the methoxypyrazine aromas blow off, leaving behind a beautifully pithy nose with impressive orchard fruits. Palate is concentrated but light in body and very finely balanced, with well-woven acidity. Good quality and potential here. 92-93 (2178 views)
