Considerable oak but it wears it well. Not for the ultra traditional palate but that’s not necessarily a criticism. Nice zip / acidity and not overly tannic. Will probably be pretty special in 10-15 years. Not a crime or a shame to open today if you give it a few hours in a decanter. (866 views) | | | Tasted by canan on 6/22/2019 & rated 93 points: Misc wines at MGs place: Very powerful, young and intense. Lots of dark fruit and a huge acidity!! Almost have a liquor note to it but it never really goes over the top.
