Classic moscato nose, sweet white grape and peach. Very sweet, honeyed taste. Pear, grape, apricot. A little low on acidity, this is something of a simple fruit bomb, but fun and easily rich enough to pair with most desserts. Not the best of its type but not bad. Today, 27.02.2019 it is 17 degrees here in the Netherlands. But behind the glass, out of the wind where I am sitting right now in Noordwijk...It is even hotter. Almost feels like summer (13:20 o’clock)! So, we need a refreshing drink...Seeing that the winelist at this beachclub is not great, we settled on this 2018 Prunotto Moscato d’Asti. Super refreshing, slightly sweet Muscat / lychee fruits. Canned peaches, light bubbles and at 5% alcohol, the bottle most likely will be empty soon! (1757 views) |
