Pretty nose of stone fruits, apple and grass. Medium body with exquisite acidity. A lush mouthfeel that is so appealing and only something the best versions of this variety possess. Pear, green apple, lemon and minerals on the palate. Exceptional length on the finish. Absolutely sublime paired with a Shrimp Creole. These unique wines are from our oldest vineyard on our estate. Planted in 1959, this is one of the oldest known Sauvignon Blanc vineyards in California. With a production of only 2.4 tons per acre this is a focused and concentrated wine. Aromas of passion fruit and citrus with expressive mineral qualities combine with a very rich mouth feel and firm acidity. This wine has surprising aging potential.
