Tasted by ryanlammi on 12/25/2020 & rated 72 points: Decent (266 views)
Tasted by dssinger on 6/21/2020 & rated 84 points: Not distinguished but perfectly acceptable to accompany food, especially at the price.

My wife says that it’s “mostly harmless”, so I gave it an 84 because that’s twice 42, the answer to the ultimate question of life, the Universe, and everything. (394 views)
Tasted by Stephen.Somm on 5/27/2020 & rated 85 points: Medium straw color with citrus aromas. Light bodied wine with notes of lemon, lime zest, and grass. Very basic sauv blanc. For my money, I would go for another value label such as Angeline or Ferrari-Carano. (377 views)
Tasted by Tsum on 4/23/2020: Just okay. Try another at this price point $12 (501 views)
Tasted by wordwoman on 1/18/2020 & rated 89 points: Tasted on the Sacramento Old Vine Train.

Flavors of green peppers, vanilla, and perhaps lychee? Creamy, bright, and balanced on the tongue. (299 views)

Varietal Character

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

California

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
