Very good and may have some more to go in cellar. Spicy (with some black licorice present) and jammy with great balance of tannins and a soft finish; but feels a bit young; like I should have waited a few more years to open it. As soon as I poured the first glass, I could tell this wine was going to impress just from the aroma. Very dark ruby in color; and the hints of licorice and cherry are very prominent, yet not overwhelming such that the wine is able to develop its various flavors on your palate as you sip it. Tannins are well-balanced and make this a very drinkable wine. Pairs well with pizza for sure!
