Tasted by agsdlswine on 7/8/2023 & rated 92 points: Excellent lighter style Chard. Drinking nicely now. (431 views)
Tasted by mflesh on 6/1/2023: This other bottle definitely had a more robust character than the other one did. Still lighter side (was expecting full bodied before the first one) but this has a good amount of acidic character but a lot of buttery mature yellow fruits that are all in balance and not over the top. Ready to pop and pour! Not going to get any better. (642 views)
 Tasted by davesmith1957 on 4/20/2023 & rated 90 points: A light, food-friendly wine. (431 views)
Tasted by mflesh on 2/16/2023 & rated 90 points: A rather light Chardonnay which I was not expecting quite honestly. A little honeysuckle white peach and herbs on the nose. The palate is dried Italian herbs, white peach, robust and round palate when colder and a little more jagged and flinty when closer to room temp. Finishes with good white pepper. A little simplistic, but did go well with the shrimp and stuffed mushroom. This wine goes well with food for sure. Age if you dare, but this wine is ready for your table at lunch or dinner.  Tasted by ThistleB on 5/5/2022 & rated 88 points: This is a very full bodied and buttery Chardonnay. Green apple on the plate. Some acidity. I can’t say that I disliked it, but I prefer a less full-bodied Chardonnay (440 views)
Tasted by rdma on 9/15/2021 & rated 91 points: 2018 was a nearly perfect growing season in Napa. Spring was warm and dry which led to a uniform berry size for most vineyards. This is a classic Chardonnay, so if you don't like that, you should not buy this wine. But for $28 you get a tight, classic white with green apples, lemons and a hint of brown sugar. The wine is nicely full bodied and will remind you of French Burgundy. A worthwhile white for relevant times. (414 views)
Tasted by WatkinsWine on 9/12/2020 & rated 85 points: Straw in color. Nose is full of butter and melon. Creamy flavor, herbs, and butter. Good Chardonnay if you enjoy buttery chards. (480 views)

Chardonnay

The Chardonnay Grape

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
