Dark purple in colour. Decanted for 30 mins before drinking. As always, this wine does not disappoint. Pumped up notes of ripe plums and berries, with a touch of toffee, and licorice.
One of the best QPR wines in the collection. (559 views) |

Purplish in colour with notes of berries, ripe plums and black spices.
Like a young lady gracing the dinner, this wine is to be admired and envied. Exuding the positive vibes of youth and beauty, the charm and graciousness of this wine cannot be underestimated.

Mid to full body, with a well-built structure and good energy on the palate. Touch of spice and zest in the finish. Lovely wine. (658 views) |

Dark purple with wild violets, rich berries and ripe plums with a mild spice in the finish. Decanted for 20 minutes and the cream and vanilla notes evolved and complemented the food wonderfully.
A very good wine which can be drank on its own effortlessly or paired with finger food. (287 views) |
| Tasted by stayhappy21 on 2/11/2022 & rated 88 points: Opened a bottle at New Ubin Seafood (Zhong Shan Park) last night with my ex-colleagues from the MDIS days. We had foie gras egg with their signature rib-eye steak with fried rice and wedges.
Dark purple with a beautiful bouquet on the nose, coupled with ripe plums, berries, latte and a sweet vanilla infusion in the finish. A touch of dark spices reminds the drinker that this is unmistakably Shiraz, yet sensuous and luscious at the same time.
Smooth and long elegant finish. For a wine that is under S$40, this wine is punching way above its weight and is comparable to (or even better than) a lot of other wines in the higher price tiers. (277 views) |
| Tasted by The Drunken Cyclist on 1/20/2021 & rated 90 points: Retail $20. Under screwcap. 100% Shiraz. I am not familiar with this brand at all, but it comes from an importer who focuses on family-owned wineries and I am increasingly impressed with their portfolio. Australian Shiraz (Syrah) has taken a hit in popularity due in no small part to a certain large producer with a lightly colored extension of the rear end, which has been putting out a bunch of, well, not very good wine. This, however, is a delightful departure from that paradigm. Dark fruit and vanilla on the nose, with plenty of blackberry and plum on the palate along with some rather intense mocha and spice. Very nice.
