Tasted by Cyclist on 4/25/2024 & rated 97 points: Probably one of the most interesting “cab-like” wines coming out of Napa valley right now. This has all the hallmarks of a great Cabernet, yet has such an interesting backbone of other components with incredible acid and tannin structure that doesn’t bite, along with fresh plums and dark fruits that come out with a good amount of air.  Tasted by Franken Berry on 4/24/2024 & rated 95 points: PHILLY CT GATHERING-DR CRANE NIGHT
I haven’t had many single varietal Petit Verdot, but I have to imagine this is one of the best representations coming from Napa. It certainly held its own against the cab savs poured last evening.
Deep garnet in color with baked plums on the nose. Rich red and black fruits, more plums, black cherries and red currants. Finishes with plush tannins, cedar box and black pepper with a streak of scorched earth.
A very unique and satisfying bottle of wine. Thanks to the cyclist for bringing this along (268 views)
Tasted by WineBurrowingWombat on 6/18/2022 & rated 94 points: Napa day trip (Arrow & Branch, Harlan) (Napa): Nose of young and fresh plums, very floral, soft minerals and soft oak. Very pretty and light on the nose. Flavors of deep red but bright fruits, subtle heft and top earth. This drinks quite nicely for a single varietal, though not all of em are like this. (1156 views)

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
