Tasted by seeyouintee on 8/12/2023 & rated 89 points: Red-purple in the glass. Very floral up front, with gravel, sweet oak, blackberry, and milk chocolate. Palate is the same, leaning on the blackberry a bit more, with some black pepper. Medium body, medium tannin, medium acidity. (397 views)
Tasted by joraesque on 3/21/2022 & rated 88 points: It's definitely got some ripe Grenache, probably Syrah as well.

Tasted by Randyartoo on 3/16/2022 & rated 94 points: very smooth (988 views)
Tasted by seeyouintee on 2/5/2022 & rated 89 points: Decanted for an hour. Nose is pretty nice, with dark cherry and spice. Palate is the same with black pepper and a little licorice. Opened up over the next few hours, with the tannins relaxing some. Good now, and I'll try again next year. (581 views)
Tasted by Shiv K on 5/1/2021 & rated 93 points: Rocks!! (1720 views)
Tasted by Westgate Wine Store on 1/28/2021: A truly superlative example of the style of rich red wine California does so well. Also a terrific example of how Fess Parker manages to combine the most delicious, pleasing flavors with both great value and rare integrity. Just plain terrific. (1705 views)

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
