Tasted by chbeaumont on 5/2/2023 & rated 87 points: The alcohol sticks out, today. Big, inexpressive. Drink up. (1077 views)
Tasted by chbeaumont on 3/15/2023 & rated 87 points: Drinkable, sound, lacks real interest. (1135 views)
Tasted by Carson.McEvoy on 2/20/2023 & rated 92 points: Light golden yellow color. Grassy and tree fruit aromas on this bottle.

Amazing favor, strong acidity, very refreshing and light. A true enjoyable Sancerre.

Great value for the price (1120 views)
Tasted by pmbsonning on 11/9/2022 & rated 93 points: Perfect with pan-fried Norwegian trout. (1472 views)
Tasted by pmbsonning on 10/28/2022 & rated 93 points: Melon, nectarine, Green Apple, citrus. A perfect Sancerre from a master wine maker. (1413 views)
Tasted by Stian Thorgaard on 8/28/2022 & rated 89 points: The wine looks straw colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like lemon and tropical fruit and butternotes. It tastes like of tropical fruits, butter and spicy middle. Some gooseberry at the finish. The body is medium. The wine has oily texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity. (1135 views)
Tasted by chbeaumont on 7/31/2022 & rated 87 points: In view of 14.5% alcohol opened with a little trepidation. Classical nose, not overbearing; this carries onto palate. It carries the alcohol well but is on the big side. Showy. Probably safest to drink over the short term. (1218 views)
Tasted by maxima on 7/16/2022 & rated 88 points: Frais et bien droit.
Un peu de buis et de pamplemousse.
Des herbes et des citrons aussi.
Pas très long mais sans accroc. (1550 views)
Tasted by Bellissimo on 5/18/2022: Fairly rich, tropical fruit, with mineral backbone. Fruit (gooseberry, apricot, papaya) really come out as it comes up to temp. (1089 views)
Tasted by drwine2001 on 5/8/2022: Yellow with a green glint. Some Sauvignon herbaceousness and pungency. No wood showing. Rich, tropical entry, excellent texture, and good shape given by the minerality rather than the average acidity. I haven't tried this basic cuvée in several years, and it was very good if a bit richer than usual. (1384 views)
Tasted by MuddyBoots on 4/23/2022: This is very young. Expressive nose but not very green fruited - it is as if the ripeness left the green notes behind and replaced them with yellow orchard stone fruit flavors not normally associated with Sauvignon Blanc. Luscious on the palate too - a full texture - though here I do get some greener fruit also. Some early complexity. Beautiful texture. Only discretely long. Lacks some freshness and some grip. Nothing delicate here. This is labelled at 14.5% alcohol and drinks like all of that. Pretty atypical. You could persuade me this was 20% Viognier. But as long as you temper your expectations that this is not conventional Sancerre and find fitting food choices, this wine has lots to commend it. I would give it a year or two to settle down. (923 views)
Tasted by Fat1Wombat on 4/9/2022 & rated 90 points: Medium color.
Lifted sweet snow pea and a hint of gooseberry. A little honey. Fresh and fruit driven. Slight reduction and mineral edge.
Palate is rich and full. Lots of sweet fruit. Honey, lemon and ripe gooseberry. Slightly phenolic.
Fruit driven. Very bold. Certainly not elegant or shy. (818 views)
(1066 views)
Tasted by KVM on 12/29/2021: Pale salmon colour. Bouquet of apricot, gooseberry, lemon- very nice. Off dry, over ripe melon, peach, spicy and enough acid. This is very pretty. (1186 views)
Tasted by Maznoc on 11/24/2021 & rated 86 points: Disjointed - a shadow of prior vintages. (1160 views)
Tasted by Schiffy on 9/11/2021 & rated 91 points: Ripe, fruit forward Sancerre that has unusual balance of acidity and roundness on the finish. Lemon and pineapple fruit notes. This really drinks very well not your average Sancerre. (1392 views)
Tasted by sdrucker1000 on 8/20/2021 & rated 87 points: Overly sweet Sancerre. Feels like saccharine in the throat. (1195 views)
Tasted by Michael Mackenzie on 8/8/2021 & rated 87 points: Heavy bottle with embossed coat of arms, hmmm…
C: v pale straw, bright, clear
N: full, fresh, ripe fruit
T: light body, q assertive, slightly hot, good fruit and acidity, ripe and rounded mid palate, med finish, alcohol (14.5%) comes through.
Overall, enjoyable entry level wine even if alcohol detracts from the balance of the wine. (1134 views)
