Tasted by AlphaMikeFoxtrot on 1/8/2024 & rated 90 points: Lemon curd, meyer lemon, blood orange, white pepper, fresh fennel and swiss cheese on the nose. Medium intensity of aromas. It smells subtle and elegant. The palate is pretty different. It's more primary; showing navel orange, ripe green melon, ripe white peach and wet stone. A little bit of the cheese, too. Sadly loses the fennel; but gains some intensity. Call it medium + intensity of flavors.

Medium + body with medium acid and a medium finish. Drink now, approaching age 4. Excellent pairing with grilled swordfish. (254 views)
Tasted by KSWinegeek on 11/2/2023 & rated 91 points: Moderate yellow in color. Lemon and vanilla the nose. Lemon, peach and mineral flavors on palate. Nice wine. (363 views)
Tasted by ovy on 10/29/2023 & rated 93 points: I love it. Perfect for sashimi in Jayde Fuxion in "M" NV (324 views)
Tasted by dmanzoni on 6/28/2023 & rated 89 points: Limone vulcanico e vaniglia con solo 12.5 gradi. Per me è più un vino da crostacei che da pollo grigliato. Su mazzancolle o aragosta dovrebbe essere la morte sua. Zero alcool percepito. (548 views)
Tasted by Stevelayden on 6/7/2023 & rated 92 points: I'm a relatively new convert to Etna Bianco wines and have generally been quite impressed by the quality and the interest of the Carricante grape varietal. The grip and acidity seems to work well with volcanic soils. The Cusumano Alta Mora 2020 shows the spiky, very mineral flavors well and does a good job highlighting the strengths of a middling vintage. Can be served a bit warmer than usual for an Etna Bianco without losing structure. (638 views)
Tasted by Carson.McEvoy on 6/6/2023 & rated 90 points: Another great bottle from a wonderful producer!

A light yellow coloring with fresh aromas of green apple, honey, and lemon. This wine is fresh and smacks you with a zing the moment it touches your palate. It's a bottle that comes from such a cool part of Italy that you can't help but admire it.

I highly recommend Etna for both reds and whites. A fun bottle for any occasion. (375 views)
Tasted by _water.into.wine_ on 4/14/2023 & rated 91 points: Such an interesting wine. Manages to have the ripeness of Italy whilst having the acidity and freshness of a cooler climate. The altitude obviously helps and at 12.5% this is nicely balanced. I note they use Diam30 which is hugely surprising at this price point, but helps keep the reductive and fresh nose lively upon pop and pour. More pear and green fruits rather than tropical. A lovely bottle for the price. (447 views)
Tasted by studleytrey on 11/8/2022 & rated 90 points: Medium yellow. Smells like lemon, herb, white peach, and minerals. Medium body, acid, and finish, with flavors of lemon, apple, nectarine, and minerals. Nice with the seafood and chicken dishes at this restaurant. (535 views)
Tasted by itsallaboutvinum on 9/4/2022 & rated 94 points: 2020 Cusumano Alta Mora Etna Bianco

📚 Taking an imaginary trip back to Italy. Re-visiting Sicily or Sicilia to the locals. This time to the vineyards of Cusumano based in Partinico.

Founded by brothers Alberto and Diego Cusumano in 2001 emphasizing on producing wines with strong character and territorial features.

The Alta Mora (High Blackberry in Italian). My first Carricante. It is a white grape varietal native to Sicily.

I’ve covered the red last week. Link in bio.

👀 Straw colored.
👃The 2020 vintage opens up to prominent notes of kerosene or diesel, underlying citrus, apricot, melon and green apple. Some salinity and minerals.
👅 Fresh, mouthwatering acidity and medium plus intensity.
💭 Drinks well and pairs well with Brie on toasted sourdough bread.

Tasted by Mansun on 9/4/2022 & rated 89 points: At first very fruit forward with notes of white peach, yuzu and melon. Then notes of green herbs and white paper emerge followed by a finish of salt and smoke. Very interesting flavour profile! (408 views)
Tasted by Jkrench on 2/11/2022 & rated 90 points: Full bodied in the nose, white peach, and a difficult to describe added nuance, sort of like barley. On the palate nice balance, good spine, light white peach notes. Nice clear light yellow. (494 views)
