Tasted by joraesque on 7/7/2023 & rated 87 points: Started softening quite a bit after an hour. (511 views)
Tasted by cma82 on 3/25/2023 & rated 91 points: Again, joy to drink. Loads of white pepper, red fruit, and steminess. Will look for more (570 views)
Tasted by SingleTrackRide on 3/13/2023 & rated 89 points: Upon opening had aromatics of black pepper and spice, on the palette was spice and deep cherry, almost sour, that quickly turned to a consistent spice, pepper and wonderful cherry on the palette. Light mouthfeel and relatively short finish, light cocoa finish, medium tannins. (590 views)
Tasted by joraesque on 11/7/2022 & rated 88 points: A bit muscular for a Pineau d'Aunis, though the tannins seemed to mellow out somewhat after 90 minutes, unless it was the palate that got inured. Would probably pair well with a smoked turkey. 13% ABV.

Tasted by RussK on 10/24/2022 & rated 90 points: Russk. First night, as expected, nose is mostly black pepper (not my fav). The mouth was plush, but not jammy. Earthy and a tad natty. Leaves you wanting another glass.

Second night, too much black pepper. Even in the able hands of Colin, I think i need to avoid this grape: Pineau d'Aunis. (905 views)
Tasted by cma82 on 9/28/2022 & rated 91 points: This is good. Sits well in between joyous and drinkable, and complex. (731 views)
Tasted by MBusk on 5/13/2022 & rated 94 points: A spectacular wine that kept evolving over a number of nights. Feral, floral, peppery. "There's a lot going on here," to quote my wife. The tannins are fine but potent, and suggest this will last for 5+ years. (928 views)
Tasted by PDX-S on 4/4/2022: Highly perfumed, dark fruits, lots of tannin and lots of intensity with fair acid. A bit wild, a bit off the beaten path, no less fun for all of that.
Nice, earthy and rambunctious scents of wild berries and bushes erupt from the glass.
Intensely herbal and fruited. Garigue and branches are densely interwoven with flat, unripe blackberries and wild raspberries.
There a wildness to this wine that is nicely restrained by the leanness. Very nice and rustic, authentic wine.
I enjoyed the bottle over 3 days and would definitely hold for 2-3 years to let the perfume and fruit intensity mellow and and for the tannins to resolve a bit more. (831 views)
