Very Burgundian-like, thanks to the cool nights on the Mornington peninsula. This is the first bottle of the 2006 vintage I have tasted and it is quite different from 2005. There is much more acidity suggesting it is worthwhile cellaring, but it also makes it a little less accessible today.
