Tasted by marcus_francois on 12/27/2023: Shutdown hard compared to my last tasting. (444 views)
Tasted by marcus_francois on 8/5/2023: I’ve been baby killing this one all year, and it’s been showing very consistently across bottles. Lime-based citrus notes support flavors of white peach and honey suckle. Smooth, oily mouthfeel on the entry, and lip smacking acidity with waves of minerality on the finish. An excellent food wine rn. Should probably wait 10 years to check in on it again but I wont be so patient. Most expressive around 50-55 degrees. (596 views)
Tasted by Hildo Schulz on 2/18/2022 & rated 95 points: Fantastic Riesling even though it’s young. Concentrated, honey, herbs, miny tones.
I believe this will be awesome in 5-10 years. (1279 views)
Tasted by glou.sf on 1/12/2022 & rated 95 points: Beautiful and fragrant nose with lots going on at first and notes of peach and citrus. There was also a noticeable SO2 note that dissipated somewhat, but with air the wine also felt a bit more closed down. Great acidity on the palate with good intensity and flavors of lime, chalk, and minerals. Long finish. This wasn't the "wow experience" I had a few months ago and the wine may be shutting down... I would wait several years. Still very promising, though! 95+ (1409 views)
Tasted by glou.sf on 9/1/2021 & rated 97 points: Intense mineral driven nose with lovely complexity. Chalk, white fruit, and peach emerge after some air. Nice acidity with beautiful balance and tart peach, lime, minerals, and unripe apricots on the palate. Very long finish. This is just outstanding, just wow! Probably one of the best young Rieslings I’ve had. Drinks quite well already, but has everything to age for a decade or two. We drank this next to the 2017 Keller Abts Erde and this was slightly preferred. 97-98+ (1567 views)
