Tasted by nvexplorer on 2/7/2011 & rated 89 points: Really excellent NZ Sauvignon Blanc. Like a trip to the tropics - lots of fruit on the nose and the tongue. Wonderful balance and a crisp finish. (4356 views)
Tasted by ecola on 2/3/2011 & rated 88 points: Aromas of fresh cut green grass, herbs, and tropical fruit. Not as open as other sb from nz. Very smooth mouthfeel, but flavors of grapefruit and tangerine are muted. Not as acidic as I would prefer. Very easy to drink, just missing complexity. ($16) (4165 views)
Tasted by noshooz on 1/19/2011 & rated 88 points: Typical grassy NZ Sav Blanc, almost too grassy. Good structure, citrusy mouthfeel, good finish. Pairs nicely with crab cakes. (4331 views)
Tasted by Wine Concert Guy on 6/30/2010: I liked; Gary thought was just ok (4396 views)
Tasted by danielmchu on 10/28/2009 & rated 90 points: Clean and crisp. Zippy, but not too acidic and good structure. Apple, citrus and tropical fruits. Very nice. (4884 views)
Tasted by CDStrombom on 9/27/2009 & rated 89 points: Crisp & clean. Subtle notes of pineapple on the nose and palate. Additional notes of green melon, green apples and grass on the palate. Clean, medium-length finish. Really enjoyable! (2682 views)
Tasted by Serge Birbrair on 8/8/2009: grassy easy drinker (2760 views)
Tasted by fcarrano on 6/22/2009 & rated 89 points: refreshing, crisp, citrus and apples. (2946 views)
Tasted by dfitzg2 on 5/13/2009 & rated 89 points: Very pleasant NZ SB. Clean and crisp from the get-go. Nice astringency. Paired well with a lentil soup. (3001 views)
Tasted by hutch on 4/8/2009 & rated 86 points: Wine Marketing Tasting (Newport): Grassy stuff. Eh? 86-87 (4128 views)
Tasted by BarnyardFunk on 3/31/2009 & rated 88 points: Nose: Funky pineapple custard and honey suckle
Palate: Lots of lemon zest, grass and granny smith apple core (928 views)

Tasted by corka on 2/1/2009 & rated 88 points: Grassy on the palate with good acidity and tropical fruit. Very typical of a New Zealand S/B, which I always enjoy! (3630 views)
Tasted by JamoDenver on 1/25/2009 & rated 90 points: Consistently great. Will be looking for more, down to the last bottle. (3334 views)
Tasted by jsokel on 12/31/2008 & rated 91 points: Really good everytime, especially for the price. (3264 views)
Tasted by armchairsommelier on 12/7/2008 & rated 90 points: Reliable as ever . . . grapefruit and grass on the nose. Flavors of lime and herb. Crisp and well balanced. Great value. Salud! (3244 views)
Tasted by ChickadeeSharon on 12/6/2008 & rated 91 points: Intensely grassy, herbal, and 'cat pee' (gooseberry) nose, great acidity but somewhat round on palate, great typicity and example of N.Z. Sauv Blanc, varietally correct, not subtle (3726 views)
Tasted by Schafm on 10/23/2008 & rated 88 points: Rich full nose with good fruit (green apples, grapefruit) and a clean crisp finish. Excellent value! (3263 views)
Tasted by wino_tim on 10/18/2008 & rated 88 points: Very aromatic with passion fruit and mango notes, this turns lean and mineral-oriented on the palate. (3254 views)
Tasted by mmurry on 10/18/2008 & rated 90 points: Sauvignon Blanc & Merlot (Farpointe Cellar): The nose had grass, grapefruit, and lime. The palate was crisp, with lots of stone, plus some grapefruit, lime, and grass on the finish. (3729 views)
Tasted by mstrickland on 9/29/2008 & rated 92 points: intense grapefruit, vibrant burst of tropical passion fruit. Herbs on finish. Bright, pops on the tongue like pop rocks, lemon drops. Awesome wine, crisp, delicious and great with chicken. (3421 views)
Tasted by erikkanderson on 9/27/2008 & rated 87 points: A very nice effort. Typical citrus and floral scents. When tasted though had a green pepper thing going for it. This bottle was a refreshing change from your standard California SB. (3398 views)
Tasted by jsums on 9/13/2008 & rated 91 points: Very pale color. Beautiful nose of pink grapefruit, lemongrass, and a hint of kiwi. Grapefruit dominates (but does not overpower) the palate complimented by orange peel and fresh grass. Wonderful chalky minerality. Moderately long finish. Nearly perfect balance for the style. Excellent. (3247 views)
Tasted by kschriner on 9/10/2008 & rated 89 points: This is an excellent Marlborough SB. (3067 views)
Tasted by wineywhites on 9/6/2008 & rated 86 points: Nice Marlborough sauvignon blanc. Element of grapefruit and other citrus, bit of orange in there, but not a fruit bomb like many other Marlboroughs. Good but not fabulous. (3004 views)
