Tasted by afot on 4/24/2024: Much better this time, with some present acidity and full bodied notes of ripe apple and brioche. Very effervescent. (32 views)
Tasted by afot on 1/1/2024: Pretty ripe chardonnay aromas. Almost a bit sweet. Not sure how much I liked it. (58 views)
Tasted by Arsene Wengert on 12/24/2022 & rated 89 points: Vielleicht war ich etwas ungnädig beim letzten Mal. 87

Am zweiten Tag sehr schön, mit frischer, lebhafter Säure, alles integrierter, pflanzliche Noten, etwas Tabak. 90 (97 views)
Tasted by Arsene Wengert on 10/29/2022 & rated 85 points: Getrocknete gelbe Frucht, gelbe Würze. Mittlerer Bau und Cremigkeit, ziemlich herb. Nicht so ganz beisammen . (113 views)

#2014 Vintage Notes:
2014 Vintage Report by Terry Theise
2014 Vintage Report by Wine Spectator
"My gut still tells me the Saar (and to some extent) the Ruwer are better overall in 2014 than the more storied areas of the Mosel proper, but those that spent the requisite time living in their middle-Mosel vineyards made some of the most electric and "feathery" Riesling in a long time (maybe the finest in 20 years - yes, it's true!)" - Jon Rimmerman (Of course only a very short historical memory would call the Saar and Ruwer less 'storied' than the middle Mosel - jht)
