Tasted by mattias_hansen@hotmail.com on 12/21/2013 & rated 85 points: Ruby, browning on the rim. On opening, the nose is candied, with jammy overripe red fruit and berries, but with time in the decanter those notes settle down and is dominated by ripe dark red fruit, black pepper, anise, and some dark chocolate. The palate is medium plus intensity, candied red fruit, burnt rubber, bitter chocolate. Low tannins and low acidity. Ultimately this is overripe and unbalanced. (3904 views)
Tasted by mattias_hansen@hotmail.com on 7/30/2013 & rated 87 points: Ruby, with bricking towards the rim. This wine was meant for early consumlption. There is powerful Sulphur on the nose which does not go away completely with a brief decant. Further notes of spices, dried cherry and steak (oxblood) emerges The palate is rather full with ground black pepper, dried cherry, licorice and spices again. The mouthfeel is thick, and a bit flabby. The short finish reveals smooth velvety tannins. Lacking structure and my own palate objects to that presence of sulphur (4185 views)
Tasted by L_McNichol on 8/29/2012 & rated 80 points: Nothing special. This shiraz was lacking in the dense fruit it usually offers & the 5% viognier didn't seem to be enough to add anything. (5001 views)

Tasted by Vetterbrian84 on 2/11/2011 & rated 87 points: I really enjoyed this wine. First time tasting a Shiraz-Viognier blend and was surprised by how pleasant and distinct the floral / herbal notes of the Viognier were on the nose. Broad berry flavors and a hint of spice on the palate, nicely accentuated by the same floral / herbal notes from the Viognier. Those initial flavors gave way to a vaguely earthy or mineral (hard to place exactly) flavor before finishing again with fruit. Lightly structured. Will definitely drink again. (3650 views)
Tasted by ecola on 2/3/2011 & rated 88 points: Nice ripe fruit from the shiraz and a blast of floral action from the viognier. Solid blend with a unique taste. ($13) (2783 views)

Tasted by Nutty08 on 7/11/2010 & rated 91 points: Boerne Wine Club - Australia (Scenic Loop Cafe, San Antonio, TX)): Smooth elegant nose with plum, meats, and currants and almost a hint of citrus. Fine tannin backbone and palate of raspberries and currants, and quite light on the palate with prominent acidity. Finish adds a little burnt toast with medium length. Ripe and round, but seemingly light on the palate with good complexity. Retrained. (3671 views)
Tasted by macker100 on 7/11/2010 & rated 90 points: At Boerne Wine Club. Nice surprise here as Shiraz does not dominate at all. Nose of crushed red fruits with touch of pepper. Palate nice and refined with red cherries, pomegranate, strawberries, and sage with great finish. Terrific value. (3266 views)

Tasted by grapefan on 1/30/2010 & rated 87 points: Bright ruby with a fresh and perfumed aroma. Herbal (thyme, oregano?) as well as ripe red and black fruits. Nicely textured tannins, balanced acidity and plenty raspberry, strawberry and redcurrant. Just a hint of spice so in that respect not a typical Aussie spicey shiraz. A well made quality wine (3636 views)
Tasted by ed-d on 1/29/2010 & rated 84 points: Bright black ruby color. A bit earthy on the nose with black fruit & a slight volatile element. Herbal, woody black fruit with a distinct viognier acidic element. A wierd wine! (3599 views)
Tasted by oski on 12/14/2009 & rated 89 points: Good nose and decent mouthfeel. Seemed to fade over a couple of hours. (3822 views)
Tasted by Hazeo on 11/28/2009 & rated 87 points: I can sense some northern rhone flavours of subtle meat and pepper spices, but still a an Aussie shriaz at heart. Sweet for my taste and a bit flat in the middle. Good finish with some tannic bite. A hypothetic blend of northern Rhone and aussie Shiraz. With air the sweetness toned down a little, but I probably won't buy again unless for a party. (3784 views)
