Tasted by konadog on 3/14/2019 & rated 87 points: Faint petrol on the nose with lime zest. Fading finish, not as acidic as previous bottles (481 views)
Tasted by konadog on 8/22/2016 & rated 88 points: whiff of petrol on the nose, lime and white peach on the palate. (888 views)
Tasted by DaddyNeedsPow on 12/30/2013: This one wasn't quite dead yet. Drinkable if not really that enjoyable. (2014 views)
Tasted by DaddyNeedsPow on 12/29/2013: Really, and I mean really, over the hill. Rubber scent and completely flat on the palette. Poured out, but another bottle was still drinkable. (1942 views)
Tasted by crsprout on 6/7/2013 & rated 75 points: Going downhill. Petrol and sour notes are headlining this now. (2416 views)
Tasted by ininov on 3/6/2013: The chemical nose seems to be the landmark of this wine - very prominent in every one of the bottles I have opened. Behind it is a somewhat muted fruit profile, but overall, the wine is balanced and pleasing, if not very focused. I have tried with a variety of foods and as a true Riesling, it has delivered every time. (2184 views)
Tasted by konadog on 2/23/2013 & rated 85 points: Some petrol notes and wet stone on the nose. Palate seems muted. (1892 views)
Tasted by jeffal66 on 1/13/2013 & rated 89 points: Less petrol than previous bottles, and this one improved a couple days after opening. Nice focus here. (1379 views)
Tasted by galewskj on 1/12/2013 & rated 87 points: Once again consistent with jeffal66's note. I bought 6 and this is my second and last review, because I don't like to dominate the conversation. But glad I bought these. (1404 views)
Tasted by UMhemePA on 1/2/2013 & rated 87 points: pale yellow in color, light on the palate, good minerality, hardly anything on the nose. Good value wine. has some residual sugar. Not bad overall. (1143 views)
Tasted by winegr on 12/31/2012 & rated 89 points: 89-90. The last bottle of this was quite good. Very good. Seemed a little drier and nicely balanced. (820 views)
Tasted by rralls on 12/18/2012 & rated 88 points: Great value. Agree with others on the tasting notes -- strong petrol on the nose. (907 views)
Tasted by DaddyNeedsPow on 12/16/2012 & rated 90 points: Crisp, clean, and lean. (813 views)
Tasted by ininov on 12/16/2012: Very prominent petroleum nose and some other non-fruit flavors as well. Behind is some citrus, but very restrained. Vibrant acidity keeps it fresh and makes it a very good food wine. Overall, the wine is balanced and pleasing, if not necessarily very memorable, which, at $9 is not a bad deal. The petroleum, however, is the first thing that hits from this wine and it might put some people off. (786 views)
Tasted by galewskj on 12/15/2012 & rated 87 points: To quote jeffal66 : Perfectly good everyday Riesling, and pretty typically Oz. Petrol, dry, lean fruit, decent finish. A solid value at $9

Not bad, no wow factor. (870 views)
Tasted by jeffal66 on 12/9/2012 & rated 86 points: Consistent with previous note. (914 views)
Tasted by Gclouser on 12/6/2012 & rated 87 points: Very dry; minerally (909 views)
Tasted by winegr on 11/24/2012 & rated 88 points: 3rd bottle not quite as good as 2nd. 87-88 (1006 views)
Tasted by jeffal66 on 11/7/2012 & rated 87 points: Perfectly good everyday Riesling, and pretty typically Oz. Petrol, dry, lean fruit, decent finish. A solid value at $9. (1157 views)
Tasted by winegr on 10/29/2012 & rated 89 points: This is a very nice Riesling, but not exceptional. I enjoyed the 2nd bottle more than the first. Seemed drier. Moderate fruit, moderately dry, citrus, like, a little more tropical than some Aussie Rieslings. 87 first bottle. 2nd 88-89. (1016 views)
Tasted by Mike Kopanski on 4/23/2011 & rated 86 points: Giant Wine Sale & Tasting Cellar on Greene Columbia,SC 4/23/2011 (Cellar on Greene, Columbia, SC): As opposed to the new world Riesling we get domestically, this one is packed with all the non fruit, earthy, mineral, slate, and barnyard flavors and aromas. There is plenty of citrus and tropical fruit, but the non fruit components are at least equal to the taste profile. Not that this is bad, this really is a very tasty wine, but not for everyone. There is lots of acid that cuts right through the palate. And, the finish brings flavors, not bad, that I have very rarely tasted before. (2313 views)
Tasted by chitowncdpguy on 3/10/2010: Typical riesling nose, but on the palate an extremely intense minerality, almost gritty. Dry, smooth but rather short finish. (1849 views)
