Tasted by Mrbuzz on 3/3/2011 & rated 92 points: My first Jura wine(along with a '06 Bourdy Rouge)...darker golden color; ripe apple, peach, butterscotch, nutti-sherriness, squeeze of citrus nose. Ah yes...there is that oxidative character! You totally get that Sherry nuttiness...yet also a beam of fresh lemon acid. Good richness in the mouth...caramel apples, honey butter, smoked pineapple/peaches, minerals and spice. This really has a great feel to it....and the nuttiness and uplifting acidity merry really well. But, you really have to like an oxidative complexity in wine(which I do)......and the cool thing is you know this wine is NOT dead because of all that fresh acidity and minerals to it! Really cool wine...can't wait to try the Vin Jaune now!! (2570 views)
Tasted by bg2167 on 11/25/2010 & rated 84 points: Buttered popcorn and a great restrained butter flavor profile. Crowd pleaser. Touch of nutty-ness and Jura acidity. (2678 views)
Tasted by QwertyMIDX on 12/1/2009: Lots of butterscotch, not much oxidized character, pretty full bodied for a Jura chardonnay. (2894 views)
