Tasted by nav2u on 10/29/2013 & rated 90 points: Medium gold. Meyer lemon, brine, and mineral on the nose. Medium bodied, with candied lemons, flowers, and oyster shells on the palate. Very enjoyable. Terrific QPR. (1743 views)
Tasted by nav2u on 8/8/2013 & rated 88 points: Pale gold, with aromas of lemons and wet slate. White flowers, lemon zest, and wet slate on the palate. Solid QPR and a pleasure to drink. (1766 views)
Tasted by learningandenjoying on 3/15/2013 & rated 91 points: 4.5+8*+4+8+8*+4+4; Great QPR; nice bright light golden color with great aromatics of citrus and yeasty pastry (brioche) and pear; nice mouth coating quality with light minerality, light butter; lightly austere edge throughout provides a good balance against a light richness. Medium finish remains clean and crisp. A really nice under $30 white Burgundy. (2288 views)
Tasted by ucbeau on 1/11/2013 & rated 90 points: This just tipped the 90 point barrier for me because it had gorgeous complexity. All the usual flavors were there, and plenty of acidity created a pleasing texture across the palate. For the price, it's hard to beat this Chardonnay. (2281 views)
Tasted by Sauvyfan on 12/4/2012 & rated 86 points: Pretty austere and dull Saint V. The weight is good, as is the acidity. Not much in the way of flavor. Some citrus. Lean. Linear. (2230 views)
Tasted by bg3034 on 6/9/2012: As with my prior bottle, such a wonderful white burgandy at a great price point. Went fabulous with grilled shrimp and scallops. 91pts! Aloha! (1365 views)
Tasted by bg3034 on 4/21/2012 & rated 91 points: Straw color. Light floral nose, with a little apple and pear. On the palate, light fruit with minerality. Nice acidity and balance. Went wonderful with grilled lobster and scallops. A steal for under $20! 91 pts. Aloha! (1319 views)
Tasted by joshwoodward on 10/6/2011 & rated 89 points: Pnp. Cinnamon nose. Bracing acid, lemon, slight lees, slightest kiss of oak. Light but concentrated. A little more body would be nice. Decent qpr at $21. (1661 views)
Tasted by Alex H on 7/6/2011 & rated 84 points: Round yellow grapefruits n lively fresh thyme. Somewhat salty. (1387 views)
Tasted by Paul S on 5/19/2011 & rated 92 points: Burgundy 2011 Day 4: Visit to Domaine Thibert (Pouilly-Fuissé, Mâconnais, Burgundy): I thought this was very good indeed. Nice earthy nose, plenty mineral and chalk here, along with wafting gusts of fleshy fruit and flowers. Wow. For something so young, the palate was superbly drinkable - round, juicy, fleshy, with lovely pure apples and musky spiciness, but also having lovely structure and acid that carried it into beautifully juicy finish with hints of chalky minerality. Lovely tension and freshness all throughout this wine - a real step up from the still fresh, but rather less defined 2009s. (2176 views)
Tasted by Mingmong on 5/19/2011 & rated 92 points: Fruity and white flowers nose. Can smell the minerality n the freshness n fleshiness. Rounder and complex and deeper acidity with fresh pineapples. Very much fruit dominant with minerality in the background. Smells like pineapples in the empty glass (1611 views)

Burgundy

Les vins de Bourgogne (Bureau interprofessionnel des vins de Bourgogne) (and in English)

Burgundy - The province of eastern France, famous for its red wines produced from Pinot Noir and its whites produced from Chardonnay. (Small of amounts of Gamay and Aligoté are still grown, although these have to be labeled differently.) The most famous part of the region is known as the Cote d'Or (the Golden Slope). It is divided into the Cote de Beaune, south of the town of Beaune (famous principally for its whites), and the Cote de Nuits, North of Beaune (home of the most famous reds). In addition, the Cote Chalonnaise and the Maconnais are important wine growing regions, although historically a clear level (or more) below the Cote d'Or. Also included by some are the regions of Chablis and Auxerrois, farther north.

# 2013 Vintage Notes:
* "2013 is a vintage that 20 years ago would have been a disaster." - Will Lyons
* "low yields and highly variable reds, much better whites." - Bill Nanson
* "Virtually all wines were chaptalised, with a bit of sugar added before fermentation to increase the final alcohol level." - Jancis Robinson

# 2014 Vintage Notes:
"We have not had such splendid harvest weather for many years. This will ensure high quality (fragrant, classy and succulent are words already being used) across the board, up and down the hierarchy and well as consistently from south to north geographically apart from those vineyards ravaged by the hail at the end of June." - Clive Coates

# 2015 Vintage Notes:
"Low yields and warm weather allowed for ample ripeness, small berries and an early harvest. Quality is looking extremely fine, with some people whispering comparisons with the outstanding 2005 vintage. Acid levels in individual wines may be crucial." - Jancis Robinson

# 2017 Vintage Notes:
"Chablis suffered greatly from frost in 2017, resulting in very reduced volumes. As ever, the irony seems to be that what remains is very good quality, as it is in the Côte d’Or. Cooler nights across the region have resulted in higher-than-usual acidity, with good conditions throughout the harvest season allowing for ripe, healthy fruit." - Jancis Robinson

# 2018 Vintage Notes:
"The most successful region for red Burgundy in 2018 was the Côte de Beaune. The weather was ideal in this area, with just enough sunlight and rain to produce perfectly balanced wines naturally." - Vinfolio
