Community Tasting Notes (average 88.8 pts. and median of 89 pts. in 11 notes) - hiding notes with no text

Tasted by WeinVixen on 11/28/2019 & rated 96 points: Amazing. Did not think it would stand up after 10 years. Fresh and lively. (591 views)
Tasted by kwattro on 7/13/2014 & rated 91 points: The oak is more pronounced coupled with hint of mocca. It's an interesting wine, worked well with chinese food especially chicken or pork dishes. (1376 views)
Tasted by Guy Des Rosiers on 6/30/2012 & rated 85 points: Light ruby core, rather pushing the envelope for rose (I've seen red Sancerres that are actually paler than this). A bit of heat on the nose, and some fresh red berry fruit. Dry, balanced acidity, a touch of salinity and bitterness on the finish. Rather full-bodied for a rose, and the alcohol feels quite high (though it is only 12.5%). The red berry fruit from the nose carries over well on the palate, and the length is medium. Holding up very well after 3 years. (2157 views)
Tasted by Softie on 1/21/2012 & rated 91 points: Dry low acid pleasant drinking; preferably drank that 12 months ago (2341 views)
Tasted by jwongham on 10/24/2010 & rated 88 points: Very good. A rose to enjoy with a meal rather than a summer afternoon quaffer Has structure and length. (2844 views)
Tasted by Mivvy on 10/22/2010 & rated 83 points: Quite dark for a rose and carries that through into the favour profile which is a little fuller than with other roses. Still has a crisp, fresh finish. (2242 views)
Tasted by kwattro on 3/18/2010 & rated 89 points: mixed feeling about this wine. perhaps didn't know what to expect. The last rose i had was some cheapies from brown brothers - which is cordial compare to this wine. So if BB stuff is your sort of thing, you're not going to like this wine - it has scents of red roses, rasberies, stunning colour and has a fruity tast with a bit of oak. It is a challenge for me to find a matching food for it, and resort to have it on its own. (1822 views)
Tasted by Softie on 2/2/2010 & rated 90 points: Good savoury Granache based Rose. A bit light for the Italian food, Bruschetta excepted. (1441 views)
Tasted by Mic Mac on 12/24/2009: Didn't like this at all. Amazing colour but a high level of bitterness. (1527 views)

Rosé Blend

"Rosé blend" can mean a blend of just about any varietals since the designation comes from the resulting color of the wine.
