Tasted by nulla on 9/18/2021 & rated 93 points: Delicious, still a baby. Quality McLaren Vale fruit, good balance of wood with smooth tannins and acid. Excellent length. (767 views)
Tasted by nulla on 1/7/2020 & rated 92 points: On opening an immediate impression of sweet red berries and plum. impenetrable black with dark red edges, lush body, loads of fruit on velvet tannins, vanilla wood with some milk chocolate. length that just goes on and on. Drinking really well, will last another 3-5 years at least. Quality way above its purchase price. (1147 views)
Tasted by ephorn on 9/17/2016 & rated 94 points: This is an Aussie fruit bomb with no regrets! Ripe rich fruit with brown sugar nose. Acidity really keeps any alcohol well in check. Tannins medium. Long finish with a bit of warmth. This is all about gorgeously pure sweet fruit. It wants complexity to push this into the final 95+ point range. As far as evolution goes this hasn't budged. If it develops more complexity in the next 3-5 yrs I would consider a higher score. (1758 views)
Tasted by leonardo_de_araujo on 6/1/2014 & rated 89 points: Quite good. I touch off dry. But that is what we'd expect.... (2330 views)
Tasted by ilovefrance on 5/11/2013 & rated 89 points: Great nose of berries. Ate with steak. Perfect match. Decanted for 2 hours. Just right. Don't think the wine would have gained much by longer cellaring (2721 views)
Tasted by Moko_hk on 1/3/2013 & rated 87 points: medium to full body, more fruity than spice nose, mature berries in the mouth with soft and round tannin, an average quality wine, not expecting any better for long cellar (2791 views)
Tasted by leonardo_de_araujo on 10/10/2011 & rated 89 points: Very dark. Fresh and dried prunes, figs, coffee. Full bodied, dark expresso... Black pepper on the back end (overshadowed by oak and fruit) Oak monster est au rendezvous... ;-) Letting it breath a bit. For now I can say I wish I had a bloody fat rib steak... Having it with a curry based beef stew (like). Quite warm on the back end... I know the curry doesn't help but still ... Good and powerful, but not extremely long (3509 views)
