Still a strong smooth solid presence, mature fruit. I was surprised it was drinkable, given its age and screw scap. I guess it was well sealed, small pop at opening. Do not leave overnight: not drinkable next day. (302 views) | | Tasted by bowmanbc on 11/1/2012 & rated 89 points: should buy more of this. 2nd bottle of the night, but was a great addition to dinner. (3620 views) | | Tasted by rocknroller on 9/29/2012 & rated 90 points: Very dark red-purple color. Drank 1 glass with dinner. Nose has blackberry, tar, mint, some licorice. The palate is fairly dense, medium-full body, blackberry liqueur, mint, integrated tannin, medium finish. (3567 views) | | Tasted by RonB on 9/1/2012 & rated 90 points: Very good. Inky, Medium body, good pepper with long finish. Zin like. Would buy more (3592 views) | | Tasted by Personal Opinion on 8/5/2012: Yum!!! Hedonistic!!! Rich, dense, concentrated, jammy, juicy, ripe, red, blue and black fruit, with layers of chocolate and vanilla... A delicious full-bodied wine! No complaints with this modern fruit bomb! Good QPR. A good substitution for port ;) Love it! (4343 views) | | Tasted by wsellis on 6/30/2012 & rated 90 points: Nose has blueberry & cheery with spice and fig notes Full body with smooth tannins and nice warm finish. A jammy Shiraz with blueberry and blackberry and mild pepper finish. Very good bold Australia Shiraz ! (3441 views) | | Tasted by noahbw on 6/15/2012 & rated 89 points: Super dark red in the glass. Nose of black fruit, subtle dark chocolate, spice, tarry thick and dense. On palate the chocolate expands over more thick full dark fruit. There's a solid tannin edge that serves nicely to buoy all the jammy flavors. Finish lingers with bright berries and more cocoa. Very satisfying Australian Shiraz showing everything one would look for. It isn't elegant, but its broad shouldered concentration and power are enjoyable, for sure. Worthy QPR.
