I still chuckle at pjaines classic comment on that selection:  "Story of my life..."

I still do the same thing.  I've been on CT for 3 years and I still find bottles BCT not logged in.   I have too much crap.

BCT = Before Cellar Tracker

After numerous Rathbone escapades, it's the fog... Easy to get lost on way home from the pub.

I did that last year, probably the same vintage!

Ditto!  Was it 2005?  Seems that I must have accepted offers/picked them up as it seemed they were unusually inexpensive for S.O.

Mine are 1991 Napa's. Upon checking, I still don't know why it's here as I've never had a bottle of S.O. that I liked.

I also find that a "friend" gave me 4 bottles of 2001 Napa that I haven't tasted as there are so many better bottles in my cellar! I'll figure some event to take them to so that they are appreciated by some label hound!

Yeah, mine were '97 & '98 vintages. Was pulling some older bottles for my kids School to have for fund raising auction, my wife "volunteered" me to give wine...

We just did our annual cellar inventory (~670 bottles) this weekend and found about 12 bottles listed in CT that were no longer in the cellar.  We did discover a bottle of '03 BV Georges de Latour that was previously removed from inventory under "Missing or Presumed Drunk".  It was nice to be able to "Undrink" that bottle.

Just don't bring them to our Bacchanalia's!  I am NOT a S.O. fan either.

Brad, pour the S.O. in an empty Kosta Browne bottle, they will never know the difference...

If anyone has seen my 4th bottle of 2005 Almaviva could they please let me know....otherwise it's going in the "missing and presumed drunk" category.
Thx.

It is probably sitting next to the bottle of 05 Ojai Bien Nacido Syrah that I swear up and down that I never drank. Perhaps there is a cellar in the sky where these bottles mysteriously go to. Next to the dryer in the sky that has all of those single socks....

Missing a 2005 Chateau Monbousquet...I'm sure the cleaning lady took it! It's so much easier to blame someone else.

05 Monbousquet! Ouch! That really ups the pain level when an 05 St. Emillion goes AWOL. I was not happy about losing the Ojai, but I will bear my sorrow bravely knowing there are those with much greater losses. My condolences!

You think you've all got problems- I've got about 3,500 bottles not on CT that I do have, and probably a case or two on CT that I don't any more!

I'll get round to it eventually...

Yes we probably do have the same cleaning lady. A cleaning lady with a good palate. I think you normally have to pay extra for that quality.

I just realized I have a case of 2000 Les Carmes Haut Brion that I purchased as futures that wasn't in my inventory.
My cellar is not that big. WTF!!!
