Roberto Voerzio Barolo Cerequio

Made from 100% Nebbiolo, this wine was first bottled in 1987. The vines are planted in the Cerequio vineyard at a density of 1,620 plants per acre, and the grapes (typically) are harvested in late September. The wine is aged in a combination of 1/ 3 new and 2/ 3 used French oak barriques for two years, and it is refined for one year before being cellared for one additional year in bottle.
