Rockford PS Marion Tawny

A critical part of our commitment to maintaining the Australian wine styles of the early twentieth century is making an aged fortified This requires putting an enormous amount of wine stock in barrel.
We release our PS Marion Tawny at an average age of 15 years Because of evaporation, the angels’ share, we have to put twenty years’ worth of sales into stock.
Although our Tawny is mostly made from Grenache, we also fortify a small amount of our white wine and blend this component back in . This adds a fineness and freshness which you can otherwise lose in big heavily fortified wines
When you sip your tawny, raise your glass to the angels, who are at the same moment enjoying their share along with you.
