Domaine Servin Chablis Grand Cru Bougros

This wine is labelled as Chablis Grand Cru "Bougerots" by the US importer.

Description
A full, rich round wine with steely, mineral flavours typical of the terroir. This wine has become one of the most powerful wine at the Domaine Servin. 100% tradition oak fermentation and ageing has produced a pure Burgundian style that will age beautifully.

Cépage
100 % Chardonnay (known locally as “Beaunois”).

Situation géographique
Right side of the Serein River. One of the seven Chablis Grands Crus vineyards. Situated at the top of the Bougros slope.

Terroir
Lime-clay soils are dominant here, but the geological originality of appellation Chablis resides in its sub-strata, often quite near the surface, of kimmeridgean limestone, formed by billions of tiny fossilised oyster shells called ostrea virgule

Superficie
0,47 ha

Age moyen
34 years (Oldest vines 51 years)
